I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. Don’t you just hate it when a brand discontinues your favourite product? Well, I certainly do! I thought I would share with you the products I wish weren’t discontinued. I have re-used some of my old photos for the products, I apologise for the quality. Here are the ten discontinued products I could think of so far:-   Avril Lavigne Black Star Eau de Parfum This perfume was launched way back in 2009 and it is still one of my favourites to this day. I haven’t actually smelled anything like it. The notes are; Black Currant, Mango, Pear, Jasmine, Lotus, Hibiscus, Musk, Sandalwood, Vanille and Mexican Chocolate. It was discontinued a few years ago, I’m not exactly sure when. I remember last seeing it for sale around 2013-2015. I don’t know why it was discontinued because it was a stunning fragrance. I used up my last bottle around two years ago and I am so sad it is no longer available. You can still find old bottles of it on eBay but bottles are being advertised for £100.00...

I managed to get my hands on the new JSC x Shane Dawson palette on launch day! It took a few hours to complete the purchase online, but I didn’t give up. I have been following the journey of the creation of the whole collection on YouTube and everything is eye catching. I decided to only pick up the main palette this time; I usually buy at least one liquid lipstick from every JSC collection launch. Also available from the collection was the Mini Controversy Palette. I really love the shades Controversy and My Apology from the palette, but I knew I wouldn’t get much use out of the other shades, which is why I decided against purchasing it. There are also six velour liquid lipsticks (none of the shades appealed to me), pig mirrors, make-up bags/cases, clear version of the gloss and a lip balm. This palette has been out for a long time now and I always resisted it as some of the colours do not appeal to me, but I really wanted that green Alien shade so bad. I also do not personally like the packaging. There was a 30% off sale on BeautyBay.com, so I decided to pick it up as it was considerably cheaper at just £33.60!. The packaging is rather huge. It is kind of egg shaped with a point to resemble an alien head. It is made out of hot pink pleather and it has raised metallic grey plastic eyes. The branding and palette name is printed in white font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The top part (lid) folds back and also has a small mirror. The square eyeshadow pans are arranged across a metallic gunmetal grey base. The shade names are printed in white font. I thought I would share a haul with you today. I have made several purchases here and there since my last haul, but I thought I would share these items with you today and I purchased them all around the same time. First of all I purchased a few things from FeelUnique.com. I bought the Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder , Urban Decay De-Slick Complexion Primer , Maybelline Baby Skin Primer and Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks in Believer and Heroine . I also received two skincare samples with this order and got my Platinum Member discount off all of the Urban Decay products. I also made a small Jeffree Star Cosmetics order on BeautyBay.com. I purchased two Velour Liquid Lipsticks in Anna Nicole and Leo and Reflective Make-Up Bag in Dark Blue . I also wanted the Pumpkin Pie liquid lipstick from JSC, but it was out of stock. This palette was released back in February and I told myself that I wasn’t allowed to purchase it. I allowed myself to buy a liquid lipstick from the Valentine’s Collection, but not this palette. I have now given in because it does look stunning and I am now into red, orange and pink eyeshadows. I just could not pass up the opportunity to purchase it this time because it does sell out all of the time on BeautyBay.com! The shade Candy Floss in my palette was slightly imperfect when it arrived. It looked like the pressed eyeshadow was slipping out of the pan. BeautyBay offered me a 15% refund on it and I manged to press the eyeshadow back into its pan. It just doesn’t look as uniform as the other shades, but the quality should be unaffected.
