PLEASE NOTE: I mean’t to review this palette a while ago, but didn’t get around to it. I thought I would still share the swatches with you. I first saw a teaser of this palette on the MakeUpWorldNews Instagram page on Wednesday 7 th April. I had heard of the brand before, but didn’t really look into it. This palette kind of went viral on Instagram and that is down to the gorgeous artwork and stunning swatches! Lois Cosmetics is an Indie brand based in the UK and was created by Lois MUA, who is a professional make-up artist. The brand has only been around since March 2020! Due to the amount of attention the palette got from Instagram, a pre-sale was put in place for the Sunday 18 th April, which is when I purchased my palette. I received it on Monday 26 th April, which was two days before the official launch date of Friday 28 th April. I first saw the tease of this palette on Trendmood’s Instagram and it instantly attracted me. I love the packaging and colour story, it just reminds me of summer. The design on the palette would also make a lovely and classy wallpaper pattern. This palette is part of the Limoncello Collection. THE PACKAGING The packaging is made out of cardboard, which is wrapped with a white, blue and yellow flowery and lemon design. The palette name and branding is printed in gold and the shade names are printed on the back of the palette. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The circle eyeshadow pans are arranged on a pale yellow, lemon skin textured base with the shade names printed above them at an angle in blue font. There is also a mirror on the underside of the lid. I now have four of these twelve pan palettes by Charlotte Tilbury. There is also another one called the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eye Palette, which has a neutral smoky glam colour story. I believe it was released as limited edition in 2017. It is no longer available, so I am unable to get it, but I’m not overly interested in that one anyway. It is probably available on Depop somewhere. I am happy with owning just the four and I am eagerly waiting for Charlotte to release another twelve-pan palette, so I can add it to my collection (colour story depending). I did once say I wasn’t going to buy this palette in particular as it is definitely a me colour story, but I already have the shades in other palettes. I obviously relented and I do not regret it one bit! It does kind of give me Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette vibes, which is a palette I recently decluttered. I bought this set because the highlighters are mini and the packaging is purple. I have previously tried Champagne Pop (limited edition bronze glitter packaging) and I decluttered it last year. I remember not really getting the hype around it. I wanted to try the formula again in different shades and what is more perfect than minis for trying something out? The whole BECCA Prismatica Collection is in collaboration with Barbie Ferreira, who I believe is an American Actress/Model. I had never heard of her before and only looked her up for the purpose of this post. There was a Face Palette, Essentials Kit and Cheek Lip Duo Set. I believe the collection has now sold out, but the highlighters are still available as singles in the regular BECCA packaging. ABOUT THE PRODUCT The packaging is sleek, round and compact. I purchased this palette as I most recently picked up the Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise Instant Eye Palette and fell in love with it. I had also previously owned the Charlotte Tilbury Stars-In-Your-Eyes Palette and the quality was the same as the Bejewelled version, so I was expecting and hoping this Starry version would be the same. THE PACKAGING The packaging is made of metallic royal blue plastic and it has a long, thin and rectangular shape. It has a glittery silver starburst design across the front. I believe all of these particular palettes have the same starburst design, but the colour varies from palette to palette. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the rectangular eyeshadow pans arranged in threes across a mirrored gold base. The group names are printed in dark brown font under each group of three. The shades don’t really have names, but there is a plastic insert included which labels the eyeshadows as 1 Prime, 2 Enhance or 3 Smoke. There ...
