ABOUT ME

My name is Rebbecca, but I also go by Becca. I am 29 years old and live in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. I love music, animals, creative writing and blogging about beauty products I have used.

BLOG BACKGROUND

I decided to create Beccafun because I love reading other beauty blogs and I really wanted to share my opinions on products I have used. I chose the name Beccafun because I had a Piczo site of the same name and it just stuck with me and I tend to use it as my name for everything I sign up to.

DISCLOSURE

All products I blog about or review have been purchased by me with my own money, unless otherwise stated in the review/post. If I am ever sent products to test, I will state I received them this way and I will always give honest opinions. My honest opinions will be based on whether something worked or didn't work for me, and obviously factors, such as, skin type, will play a big part. If something doesn't work for me it doesn't mean it won't work for you, which is why I try to include every piece of information about the product I can. This enables you to see the bigger picture, and then it's up to you.

All photo's and personal opinions/quotes are lawfully mine, so please DO NOT use them without my permission, unless you are using them in the right context and giving me full credit for what you have taken. Also any photo's or personal opinions/quotes I have taken from other sources are always credited in my posts, usually at the end of a post or tagged on the taken photos.

If I mention any products that I either received as a gift or for free, I will state this in the post. If nothing is stated, you are safe to assume I purchased the items myself.

You may also notice that some of my photos have different Beccafun tags, this is because a lot of the photos are from my old blog (xMaskedReviewer) and I think they are still ok to use and it saves me time taking new ones.

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment. THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. KALEIDOS Futurism II: Cyber Bronze Palette

I have seen these palettes before on YouTube, a few people I follow have featured them in palette collection videos. The colour stories always looked incredible, but I knew I probably wouldn’t get much use out of them as the colours are bright and you are limited to six shades. I had only really seen the Futurism III: Astro-Pink , Futurism I: Sci-Fi Green , Futurism IV: VR Neon and Futurism V: Electro-Turquoise ones before. When I made my first Kaleidos order, I didn’t bother looking at the palettes as I knew I wanted the highlighters and it was going to be pricey as it was. I was browsing through Depop on the day my order arrived and came across the Futurism II: Cyber Bronze Palette . I think the seller must have received her order the same day as me. I instantly fell in love with the colour story, but I pondered over whether to purchase it or not. At 3am the next morning (insomnia), I bit the bullet and made my purchase. Violet Voss X Laura Lee Palette

After being blown away by the Holy Grail Palette, I just couldn’t pass on this one! The shade selection doesn’t appeal to me as much, but I know the quality will be there. Also, this palette is limited edition so I wouldn’t recommend hesitating if you are interested in it. I believe this palette is a collaboration with a YouTuber called Laura Lee. I don’t know anything about Laura, but from what I gather she makes beauty videos. The palette design is similar to the Holy Grail Palette but the colour scheme is different, but it still has the holographic effect on the packaging. It has a rectangular shape to it and it is slightly bulky and has a little weight to it. It has a magnetic closing and when you lift the lid it reveals the eyeshadow pans and a mirror. The packaging colour scheme is black and silver. You get twenty 36g eyeshadows in a variety of shades and finishes.
