NOTD #4 - RED'y for St James!

I decided to share with you what I am wearing on my nails today. I haven’t painted my nails for months because they are not in great condition, so PLEASE forgive the terrible state of them in the photos. Also my camera was playing up, so the photos don’t show the red true to colour. When my nails are in better condition, I will re-take the photos for a new NOTD.

I used Nails Inc St James, which is described as a pillar box red shade. It only took one coat on each nail and I applied Barry M Basecoat Topcoat & Nail Hardener All-in-One Paint over the top and I should have really applied it before the red shade too, but I couldn’t be bothered as I actually painted them late last night before I went to bed!

My nails actually don’t look too bad in person, but my camera has a knack for picking up small details and exaggerating them! I may also do another NOTD for Christmas because I have a Barry M Nail Paint I have be saving for such an occasion.

Perfume Power! - Avril Lavigne 'Black Star'

This is my third bottle of this perfume and in the 30ml too. The bottle is designed as a star, which has a black star shaped studded cap. Around the neck of the bottle is a studded metal choker ring, which is removable and wearable for your finger. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Blackcurrant, Mango, Pear & Black Plum Middle Notes: Jasmine, Lotus & Pink Hibiscus Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla & Dark Mexican Chocolate To me it smells really light, fruity, floral and incredibly feminine. The floral notes stand out to me the most, as well as the musk. All of the notes complement each other very well and it is one of my all-time favourite perfumes. My only criticism is after a while I cannot smell it on me, but people have said they can still smell it, so it must last longer than your nose leads you to believe! I just personally like to be able to still smell the perfume on me, because it is GORGEOUS! I will definitely keep on re-purchasi...

Perfume Power! - Taylor Swift 'Wonderstruck'

The charms around the neck also look lovely, but MissBudgetBeauty bought it in 30ml and it didn’t have the charms, so the charms must be exclusive to the bigger sizes, which is a shame seeing as though I tend to buy 30ml, unless I really love the scent. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Freesia, Green Tea, Blackberry, Raspberry & Apple Blossom Middle Notes: Vanilla, Honeysuckle & Hibiscus Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Amber & Peach It does smell really nice and not as young as you would expect, it reminds me of a fruitier Loverdose by Diesel, without the liquorice.
