I already own six super shock shadows and I thought I would add to my collection. I have been into more sort of natural make-up lately. I just use my bronzer as my transition/crease shade and then use a shimmer or highlighter shade all over the lid. I have mostly been using face highlighters for the shimmer topper, so I thought I would buy more super shock shades so I can actually start using an eyeshadow. I needed different colour options to the six I already own. These shadows are not full pigment as such, but they are full shine and I thought this set would be perfect as it comes with several shades. This particular set is no longer available, but a lot of the shades are still available as singles so I thought I would still share my thoughts with you. I bought this set because the highlighters are mini and the packaging is purple. I have previously tried Champagne Pop (limited edition bronze glitter packaging) and I decluttered it last year. I remember not really getting the hype around it. I wanted to try the formula again in different shades and what is more perfect than minis for trying something out? The whole BECCA Prismatica Collection is in collaboration with Barbie Ferreira, who I believe is an American Actress/Model. A few posts ago I mentioned that I purchased a Kaleidos Space Age Highlighter from Depop and I said I really wanted the whole collection (8 highlighters) and was considering purchasing the whole bundle. The bundle was and is still out of stock, so I caved in and went for the second best option. I ended up purchasing The Six Highlighter Bundle, where you choose six of the shades and you get their Precision Highlighter Brush, all for $76.00 (£60.70). With this option I would only be missing out on one shade. My order was shipped from China and took 10 days to get to me. I have three perfume samples to share with you today. I bought them as a gift set so I could test them. I had already smelled one of the scents before and I remembered liking it, so I thought I would try the other two. They are not your regular sample vials; they are extremely cute mini perfume bottles! They are Ari , Sweet Like Candy and Moonlight by Ariana Grande and they are 7.5ml mini dabber bottles of the eau de parfums. ARI This bottle is transparent clear glass. It contains a mixture of notes such as; Pear, Grapefruit, Raspberry, Lily-Of-The-Valley, Rose, Vanilla Orchid, Musk, Woody Notes and Marshmallow. I had smelled this one before when it was first launched and I remembered liking it and I still do. It smells fresh, fruity and woody. You can really smell the raspberry, vanilla orchid and woody notes. I’m not sure I would re-purchase it though, even though it does remind me a little of Black Star by Avril Lavigne. I heard that O.P.I would be releasing a Breakfast at Tiffany’s Collection and I was really interesting in trying some shades, so when I was browsing the O.P.I website and came across this set, I snapped it up straight away! The packaging is like a white and lilac fashion book and it has a beauty advent calendar vibe. It is a sort of alternative to a beauty calendar. There are five rows with five shades covering two sides of the book. You can open the windows that cover the shades, but it will reveal all five shades, which is why it doesn’t quite pass as a calendar. Plus, you can’t actually take the bottles out like you would a beauty/chocolate calendar. You have to open the sides of the book and pull out the five separate plastic trays which hold the bottles. There seems to be a lot of wasted packaging this way.
