This is my last LF Beauty Box as I have now cancelled my subscription. If you read last month’s box unboxing post, you will know why. Last month’s box was the Firecracker Edition and this month we have the Christmas Edition with a black and gold themed box. The six items inside the box should be worth over £135.00 altogether!   The box quote this month is: “ Merry Christmas with love from the Beauty Box Team ”.   Here is what I received this month:-   PERCY & REED Reassuringly Firm Session Hold Hairspray | 50ml - £6.00 | This hairspray should be ultra-fine, humidity resistant and it should provide a flexible but firm hold. I was looking at trying a new hairspray anyway. I currently use a TRESemmé one and it makes my hair feel a little crispy if I use too much. I am hoping this one is different as it says it is ultra-fine. It is supposed to give you a sun-kissed glow. You should massage it into dry skin. It does say you can use it all over your body, not just on your legs. I received this box on Friday 14 th August. I was hoping to get the lemon cookie packet in this box as I have been longing to try them since I re-subscribed. I was hoping to have posted about this last Thursday, but it took a while for my box to arrive. There was an issue with some people’s subscriptions and it mean’t some orders were not generated for existing subscribers. The issue was corrected and I have now received my box. I use a hair wrap towel every time I wash my hair, so this will come in very handy. I received this box on Tuesday 11 th August. I was hoping for the last cookie packet as I really want to try the lemon cookies. Once I have tried them, I am thinking of cancelling my subscription! Here is what I received in this box:- Pepped Up Nutty Protein Power - Black pepper cashews and almonds, roasted cashews & redskin peanuts (221kcal) | Contains: Tree Nuts & Peanuts | The black pepper cashews have a really nice peppery flavour, which isn’t too strong. The roasted cashews are nice, there’s not really a roasted flavour though. The almonds are lovely. They taste a little sweet but you do get the black pepper flavour. The black pepper was stronger tasting on the cashews. I think I still prefer the smoked almonds though. The redskin peanuts are kind soft and dry. I received this box on Tuesday 4 th August. I got another cookie packet, which I am really happy about! Here is what I received in this box:- Cocoa Cookies - Cocoa cookies with special blend black tea (97kcal) | Contains: Milk & Gluten | This is my second Graze Cookie packet now. They do smell quite strong of cocoa, but they do not taste overly strong.
