I have made quite a few purchases recently and I thought I would share the most exciting ones with you, which I have purchased from various cosmetics websites. I bought the Urban Decay Ammo 2 Palette , Maybelline theFalsies Flared Mascara and Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Perfume . The last four items are all from Benefit and they are the Hervana Box Blush , Majorette Blush , Posiebalm and Benebalm . I am really excited to try everything out and I have made more purchases since these ones and my wishlist is growing by the day! I am trying to contain myself, but so far I have failed! Purchased anything interesting recently? ♥ ♥ ♥

Review: Maybelline Electro Baby Lips

I have been interested in the baby lips for a few years now and I was going to purchase a couple from the regular range, but I soon changed my mind when I saw these beauties advertised! The packaging is quite simple, but very nice. It has a black plastic base with a clear plastic cap, so you can clearly see each shade. The font colour reflects what each shade looks like and the name is clearly printed on the side. The black base twists up to dispense the electrified balm. The formula is very smooth and really glossy. You get 4.5g of product in each stick. I picked up two of the shades:- Strike A Rose - soft deep pink (smells of passionfruit) Pink Shock - fuchsia berry pink (smells of raspberries) These balms claim to offer eight hours’ worth of hydration with a sheer neon/electric kick of colour and renew your lips over time. I really love these lip balms! They are very creamy and glide on to your lips; they also feel smooth and hydrating. The coverage can ...

Superdrug.com Haul #3

I have a small Superdrug haul to share with you today. There were a few things I wanted and they all happened to be in stock at the same time, so I went for it. I bought my sister two Revolution Lipsticks in Depraved and Crime , but I haven’t got them pictured above with the items I bought myself. I finally got the Real Techniques Silicone Liner Brush , I have been lusting after this for ages and I am very excited to try it out! I also got two Maybelline Electro Baby Lips in Strike A Rose and Pink Shock . I did want to try the regular line of baby lips, but I thought these would be better as they look more intense. Lastly, I decided to get the Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette , which a lot of Bloggers have been mentioning. It is a dupe for the Naked3 and I usually get the MUA dupe versions, but they haven’t done an Undress Me Three yet, so I decided to get this one. Also, I think MUA and Makeup Revolution are the same brands, as the packaging is almost identical and s...

e.l.f Haul #7

A few weeks ago I took advantage of the 50% off offer on e.l.f products and I got everything on my wishlist. I haven’t made a purchase from them since December 2013 because the majority of the products I was interested in were always out of stock. This was due to offers always being on! Don’t get me wrong, the offers are brilliant but other people always get there first. But hey, I should just be happy I got my products now. From the Studio line I got the Lip Exfoliator , Long Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Soiree and a Small Stipple Brush . I also bought a Slant Tweezer and from the Essentials line I got a Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in French Lace , two Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks in Movie Star and Pink Umbrellas and lastly a Lip Balm Tint in Grapefruit . Overall I am really happy with my purchases and can’t wait to try them all out. I probably will not make an e.l.f order for a while now because I am waiting for the new products arrive (already available in the USA). Hav...

Blogmas #11 | e.l.f Haul #6

There was a 50% off offer (when you spent £20) on eyeslipsface.co.uk and I just had to take advantage of it. The sale had been on a few days before I got there, so I didn’t get as much stuff as I thought I would. A few shades of some of the items I wanted were sold out! I still bought some new things and everything I bought is new to me, so you should expect quite a few e.l.f reviews next year! I bought items from each of the three lines e.l.f currently has. From the essential line I bought two Lip Balm Tints in Berry and Peach , Clarifying Pressed Powder in Ivory and an Eyeshadow Brush . From the mineral line I bought two Mineral Lipsticks in Barely Bitten and Ripe Rose and a Mineral Eyeliner in Midnight . And lastly from the studio line I bought a Baked Eyeshadow in Pixie , a Blush in Blushing Rose and a pack of Lotion Wipes in Cucumber & Melon . I am very much looking forward to trying out these products, especially the lip balm tints. Hopefully in the Ne...

Blogmas #2 | Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

When I first heard of these I knew they would be perfect for me. I played it safe with the first shade I bought and knew I would eventually and gradually work my way through the colours to try to be more comfortable with brighter colours with a more understated and low maintenance finish. The packaging is a chubby crayon with a plastic barrel and each barrel is a different colour, which corresponds to the product shade. It has a silver band around the base of the barrel, which you have to turn to dispense the crayon and the plastic cap of the crayon matches the colour of each barrel. When you twist the band to dispense the product, you can see 3.3cm of the actual crayon, but there could be more hiding in the tube and you would just have to use up what you can see to find out for sure. The formula is light and glossy and it has a slight minty scent. I have two shades called, Honey (001) , which is a warm dusty rose with shine and Cherish (015) , which is a bright pale pin...

Chicken Poop?

Photo courtesy of TreeHugger.com I was looking at the Summer Sales on make-up websites and came across a brand called Chicken Poop. Yes, you read right the first time! Although an odd brand name, the brand uses all natural ingredients and is environmentally friend. I also must stress, NO product contains actual chicken faeces! “ Simone Chickenbone™ Natural Put-Ons™ are crafted from the kind of earth-friendly ingredients you want to put on your skin. Their raw zaniness inspires the kind of grin you love to put on your face. So be healthy. Be happy. Smile proudly and tell your friends you’ve got Chicken Poop™ on your lips! ” Quote courtesy of ILoveChickenPoop.com They currently don’t produce many products, but they have La Chick Poo Poo™ Lip Glacé , which is a range of shimmery tinted lip balms, Chicken Poop™ Lip Junk , which is a regular lip balm, Good Gravey™ Lotion Solid , which is a moisturiser for hands and body in puck form and lastly Kill It Dead™ Natural De...

Haul: Recent Purchases #1

I am going to share with you a few recent purchases I have made. I haven’t included necessities, such as, deodorant because they are repetitive, so I just decided to include make-up items and items I know will be mentioned in a blog post at some point. MUA Power Pout Colour Intense Tint & Balms

I first saw these products on the MUA blog and I instantly knew I had to try them because they are the sort of lip product I am interested in. Bold colours but suitable if you are afraid of colour because they are not as powerful as your standard lipstick, so right up my street. The packaging is like most chubby lip crayons. It has a chubby plastic barrel and the colour of each barrel reflects what the shade is. It has the silver band around the base of the barrel and the plastic lid, which is also the same colour as the barrel. For application you twist the silver band and the product will push up through the barrel. The tip of the crayon is pointy and slightly skinny and the formula is light and glossy. I’m not sure exactly how much product you get, but if you twist it up completely you can see 3.5cm of the product and there could be more hidden in the barrel, which may require the use of a lip brush to get it out. There are currently six shades available which include, B...

Haul: Some Little Things

I have a haul for you today and I actually went shopping yesterday, but I forgot to haul the items because I was tired. I didn’t really buy much but the majority of the items I actually needed because I had run out. Firstly I went to Superdrug and picked up three Barry M Gelly Nails Paints because there was a 3 for 2 offer on them, so I got one free. The shades I got are Grapefruit, Dragon Fruit and Papaya, they were £3.99 each. Also from Superdrug I bought two of the MUA Power Pout Colour Intense Tint & Balm sticks in the shades Irreplaceable and Justify and they were £3 each. After Superdrug I went to two bargain stores and picked up two cans of Right Guard Women Total Defence 5 48H Invisible Power Anti-Perspirant Deodorant in the small 150ml size, which were £1 each and two boxes of my Schwarzkopf Palette Intensive Cream Colour Hair Dye in the colour 678 Ruby Red, which is my favourite at the moment and they were £2.49 each. The last shop I visited yesterday was Morr...

Nail Polish Haul #2

I have another nail polish haul, and it definitely won’t be my last because, I LOVE Essie nail polishes! ! ! ! From CheapSmells.com I bought an Essie Nail Polish in Watermelon for £4.95. I was going to buy it for full price soon, but when I was browsing CheapSmells I saw an advertisement for discounted Essie polishes. It said the discount was for one day only, so I knew I had to buy it then. But the price the website will be selling them at is £6.95 so I only got £2 off mine. Both prices are still great compared to the RRP of £9.95 each. Shipping was free for a weekend on Superdrug.com so I bought a Barry M Nail Paint in Magenta Glitter for £2.99, I FINALLY got it! Lastly from there I bought a Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey for £5.99 (£2 off offer). This morning my order from BeautyBay.com arrived and it was only one item and I really wanted it, even though I had to pay near full price. It is the Essie Nail Polish in Braziliant, I have a mini in this, bu...
