Serial Sampler #3

As soon as these perfumes were released, I knew I wanted to test them. They are both by Britney Spears and called Fantasy - The Naughty Remix and Fantasy - The Nice Remix . The Naughty Remix sample is 1.5ml eau de parfum. The sample packaging is a deep dark theme with pink, purple and black. “For moments when you are feeling dangerous and daring” This one smells really woody and musky and is the sort of scent to give me a headache. It’s just too musky for me! The Nice Remix sample is 1.5ml eau de parfum. The sample packaging is a light girly theme with pink, white and black. “To keep in touch with your softer side” This one smells really light and dainty and you can really detect the kiwi note. It does smell musky, but in a sort of tropical way. Overall I really prefer the Nice Remix , as it is lighter and more feminine smelling. It is also the closest to the original Fantasy fragrance. The Naughty Remix is just too much and just smells sickly!

My 3 Brow Gels

I have wanted to do this post for a while now, even though my brow gel experience is quite limited. I have managed to try a total of three up to now, and I don’t really plan on trying new ones. All three can be found in stores in the UK and are inexpensive. 2true Instant Colour Mascara I first bought this back when I was trying a lot of different products and in Superdrug the brand 2true always had a 3 items for £5 offer, so I used to purchase quite a few items. I was looking for something to set my brows with so I thought trying a cheap clear mascara first, would be the best place to start. The packaging is a clear plastic mascara tube with a silver band design around the neck and a black lid, which is also the handle of the applicator which you have to twist to take out. The applicator is a mascara type brush with a short and thin shape and small packed bristles. The formula is slightly wet and not sticky and it has a slight scent. You get 7ml of product in each tube and

Haul: Recent Purchases #2

I have made quite a few purchases recently and I thought I would share the most exciting ones with you, which I have purchased from various cosmetics websites. I bought the Urban Decay Ammo 2 Palette , Maybelline theFalsies Flared Mascara and Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Perfume . The last four items are all from Benefit and they are the Hervana Box Blush , Majorette Blush , Posiebalm and Benebalm . I am really excited to try everything out and I have made more purchases since these ones and my wishlist is growing by the day! I am trying to contain myself, but so far I have failed! Purchased anything interesting recently? ♥ ♥ ♥

LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #1 - September 2014

I was shopping on LookFantastic and I came across a page for their own beauty box, advertised for £15. Shipping would be free and the value of the box would exceed £50! There was a limited amount available and it let me pre-order the September box. I was expecting some make-up items, because from experience £50 doesn’t spread very far if you have an expensive taste in cosmetics and thought the box would have less expensive brands included. The box itself is a lot like a Glossybox, but bigger and it feels more luxury. When you open it up it has the tissue paper and sticker fastening and when explored, reveals the selection of products. You also get product info cards, which tell you a bit about each product. I thought the box would be more exciting, but for an all beauty junkie, it would be a dream box. Here it what you get inside the LookFantastic Beauty Box for September 2014:- ST TROPEZ SELF TAN Bronzing Mousse (50ml) | £30.64 (240ml) - St-Tropez.com | I can tell you

AllBeauty.com Haul #1

I have been interested in Real Technique’s brushes for a long time now and I already have one set, but knew I wanted more. I decided to look on AllBeauty to see what prices they were offering and I made a purchase straight away! I got the Travel Essentials Set, which includes an Essential Foundation Brush, Domed Shadow Brush, Multi Task Brush and a 2-in-1 Panoramic Case + Stand. I also got the Core Collection Set, which includes a Contour Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush, Detailer Brush, Buffing Brush and a 2-in-1 Panoramic Case + Stand. Lastly, I got the Stippling Brush. I think this is all I am getting for now, but watch this space! What do you think of these brushes? ♥ ♥ ♥

Graze | New Packets #1 - Love Cake

I thought I would share this cake with you, seeing as though I have stopped the overall Graze Box posts. I am now only just going to share new packets with you, and I recently received this one. It is called the Love Cake and it is really nice and light. Although it was tasty, it was mostly lemon and I could taste and the texture of the sponge was quite dry! If I receive this again, I would happily eat it, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to make sure I receive it again! Would you fancy a bite of the love cake? ♥ ♥ ♥

Empties #17 - June, July & August 2014

I thought I would do an Empties post seeing as though it has been a while since I have done one. I have mostly used up necessities again, but there are a few extras I’ve managed to use up and get rid of. Vosene 2 in 1 Anti-dandruff Shampoo & Conditioner This was my first bottle of this shampoo and it is definitely better than the Head & Shoulders one I was previously using. It doesn’t give you amazing results, but it smells nice, is inexpensive and it works for me. I have already got another bottle on the go! 250ml | £1.99 ROGER & GALLET Fleur de Figuier Perfume I received a sample of this in a beauty box and the scent is beautiful! You can really smell the figs and mandarin flowers. I am tempted to purchase this in the 30ml bottle, as it is not as expensive as you would think. 30ml | £16 Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean I have used up several bottles of this cleanser in the past and it is my favourite! It smells amazing and it really works for my

Serial Sampler #2

Today I am sharing another sample, which I received in last month’s Glossybox. It is L’Amour by LALIQUE and it is a 2ml sample dabber of the eau de parfum. The card packet is quite appealing in a velvet pink shade with gold bordering and detailing. “A sensuous floral fragrance, a love potion for absolute seduction”. It smells really nice, fresh and delicate and you can really smell the rose and bergamot. It might be too floral for some people, but I think the other notes balance it out beautifully. I also love the dispenser. It is like a salt shaker and it makes it easier to apply, instead of the vile being open when you take the cap off. I would have preferred the regular spritzer though, but it’s only a sample and the full size bottles have the spritzer. It is a lovely perfume, but I’m not sure I would buy it in a full size bottle! I love loads of perfumes, but I know the difference between me loving the scent and it being ‘my scent’. It is also quite expensive,

Swatches: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils

Milk (604) - cream, bold & opaque matte white Yoghurt (611) - frosty, light champagne copper These pencils are really creamy and the shade selection is brilliant. I chose two basic shades, one to be a light base and the other to be a highlight. They do crease and can become messy, as you have to sharpen them. Overall they are ok, but I wouldn’t re-purchase them! £5 | NYXcosmetics.co.uk What do you think of these shades? ♥ ♥ ♥
