Serial Sampler #30

I’ve not heard of this perfume before, but I had heard of the brand and this particular line of scents. I love the original bottle design so much. This is the newest spin-off of the original scent (released June 2020). I came across this perfume by pure chance when I was asked to choose some free samples when I made a FeelUnique.com order. This scent was one of the ones I chose. It is Angel Nova by MUGLER and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “ A new star. A new heroine. A new fragrance. Make your dreams a reality and reality a dream. ” It contains a mixture of notes such as; Raspberry, Litchi, Damask Rose, Akigalawood and Benzoin . When I first sprayed it, I could really smell the raspberry and litchi notes. As it dries down a little, the raspberry and litchi notes become stronger and deeper. It comes across as quite a fruity scent, but that little damask rose note peeks through and tones it down a little. It does smell a little woody once it has

HUDA BEAUTY The New Nude Palette

I currently own all four of the big HUDA BEAUTY palettes, and I fell for the colour story of this one as soon as I saw it. The designs for the bigger palettes always look stunning! THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple and made of nude pink cardboard, but it has Huda’s face on the front. Huda’s eyes are closed and it looks like she is wearing a fascinator, which is covering part of her face. The palette has a magnetic closing and you just lift it up to reveal the mirror and square eyeshadow pans. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen eyeshadows with a net weight of 19.7g in Matte (M), Reflective (R), Glitter (G), Pressed Pearl (PP) and Cream Base (CB) finishes. ·         Insane Pigmentation ·         Flatter any skin tone ·         Cruelty-Free   THE SHADES & SWATCHES Stripes Double 18 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk Bare - soft pinky peach (M) Crave - metallic golden copper with pink and gold flecks (R) Play - medium peachy orange (M) Fant

Barry M Hi Vis Bold Eyeliners

I’ve been hearing about these eyeliners for a while and I finally decided to pick them up. I also wanted the cake pot versions as well, but they were not stocked on FeelUnique.com when I placed my order. There are also liquid versions, but I am not very good at applying liquid eyeliner, especially with the painter brush applicators some have. ABOUT THE PRODUCT The pencil design is quite simple, they are all one colour and the colour of the pencil matches the shade it is. They also have a plastic film covering on them; this can make it harder to sharpen.   You get 1.2g of product in the pencil and they have a neon matte finish.   ·          Creamy ·          Long Lasting ·          Glides Easy ·          Waterproof ·          Vegan ·          Cruelty-Free   THE SHADES & SWATCHES Caution - Egyptian blue Dangerous - orchid purple Glow Stick - sky blue False Alarm - scarlet red Riot - fuchsia pink Strobe Light - chartreuse green   MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS They are actually quite brig

I received this box on Friday 14 th August. I was hoping to get the lemon cookie packet in this box as I have been longing to try them since I re-subscribed. Colourpop X Disney Mulan Palette

When I saw the packaging design and colour story of this palette, I knew I wanted it! I was initially hesitant because I wasn’t blown away by the first Colourpop Palette I tried (Main Squeeze), but I had heard that the neutral/bigger palettes are slightly better quality. Some bright colour shades can be hard to formulate, plus the mini nine pan palettes tend to be more monochromatic in colour story, which can be an issue if you want varied looks. THE PACKAGING The packaging is made out of red cardboard and it has a gold design all over it. The palette looks quite shiny and it appears that some of the design has a plastic covering over it. The palette name and branding is printed in gold and the shade names are printed on the back of the palette. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The circle eyeshadow pans are arranged on a black base with the shade names printed underneath them in red font. On the underside of the lid, where you would usua

LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #6 - October 2020

I was hoping to have posted about this last Thursday, but it took a while for my box to arrive. There was an issue with some people’s subscriptions and it mean’t some orders were not generated for existing subscribers. The issue was corrected and I have now received my box. Last month’s box was the Birthday Edition and this month we have the Retreat Edition with an indigo themed box. The six items inside the box should be worth over £58.00 altogether! Here is what I received this month:- GLOV Hair Wrap | £14.99 | This hair towel is made of from microfibres, which means it is gentler for your hair. I use a hair wrap towel every time I wash my hair, so this will come in very handy. I usually prefer darker colour towels as white ones look grubby after a while. | Full Size - £14.99 | ECOOKING Overnight Foot Cream | 30ml - £8.10 | This foot cream is supposed to remove dead skin as well as moisturise. It works best overnight and it is recommend that you wear socks over the cr
