I received this perfume sample for FREE when I spent over a certain amount of money on a LookFantastic.com order. I actually purchased the full sized bottle (90ml) of the Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Parfum.   It is My Way by Armani and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   It contains a mixture of notes such as; Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Tuberose, Indian Jasmine, Madagascar Vanilla, White Musk and Virginian Cedar. This strikes me as a mature scent. It smells like something I have tested before, but I can’t quite recall the name of it. It is a very delicate and light fragrance and is definitely floral based. It is not my typical scent, but I do appreciate it. I can really smell the bergamot, tuberose, jasmine and musk notes. This is a new perfume release for this year. I came across it by pure chance when I was asked to choose some free samples when I made a FeelUnique.com order. This scent was one of the two I chose to receive. It is Irresistible by GIVENCHY and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “ Rose effervescent. Luscious rose dancing with radiant blond wood ” It contains a mixture of notes such as; Pear, Ambrette, Rose, Iris, Virginia Cedar and Musk. When it is first sprayed, it kind of smells like soap. As it starts to dry down, it still smells slightly soapy but the ambrette, rose, iris and musk notes start to peek through. Once it has fully dried down it smells less soapy and more florally. It is definitely a more soft mature scent. It does smell nice, fresh and does remind me of spring. It isn’t a scent I am typically drawn to, so I probably will not buy a bottle of it. I’ve not heard of this perfume before, but I had heard of the brand and this particular line of scents. I love the original bottle design so much. Make your dreams a reality and reality a dream. ” It contains a mixture of notes such as; Raspberry, Litchi, Damask Rose, Akigalawood and Benzoin . When I first sprayed it, I could really smell the raspberry and litchi notes. As it dries down a little, the raspberry and litchi notes become stronger and deeper. I received this sample for FREE when I purchased two OFRA highlighters from BeautyBay.com. I was lead to believe that it would be a full sized lipstick, but it was a mini sample size that arrived. It does look quite cute, so I am still happy with it. It is the Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Bel Air by OFRA and it is mini sample of the full sized lipstick. Bel Air - warm nude with a hint of peach (matte) This lipstick is supposed to have long lasting colour with minimal transfer. It should also be comfortable to wear. It is infused with Vitamin A and antioxidants. It is a beautiful colour and definitely the sort of shade I would wear. It is long lasting and comfortable to wear, but I would suggest that you try to avoid eating and drinking large quantities as it will wear away (especially if oil based). I am sampling a newer version of a really old perfume today. It was first released way back in 1957 and dedicated to the actress Audrey Hepburn. It was modernised and re-released in 2018, which is the version I am testing today. I believe the name of the fragrance means ‘The Forbidden’ in French. It is L’Interdit by GIVENCHY and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “The shocking side of chic. A forbidden blend of a white flower and a dark accord. A resolutely underground flower.” It contains a mixture of notes such as; Bergamot, Pear, Tuberose, Orange Blossom, Jasmine Sambac, Patchouli, Vetiver, Ambroxan and Vanilla. This smells very classy and floral. It is not too strong, but you can definitely smell the Bergamot, Pear, Jasmine Sambac and Patchouli notes. I used to own a bottle of the original version of this scent and was interested to find out whether this spin-off version smelled much different, as sometimes spin-offs smell nothing like the original scents they derive from. I chose this sample as my free gift with purchase and I hadn’t heard of the brand before. It happens to be part of a series of four fragrances and they are all unisex/genderless. The designs of the full sized bottles are very interesting and artsy. Looking at the four, had I been able to pick which one to receive, I most likely would have chosen the one called 10am Flirt as it seems the fruitiest based of the four. I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is  False Lashes Extreme Black  by  MAC  and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. It was easy to apply and after a couple of coats you are good to go. The effects do last all day, it is smudge-proof but not flake proof and I do like the small thin and precise brush. I have another mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is Upward Lash by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to give your lashes high-rise volume, length and curl and be very easy to apply with the effects being noticeable within seconds. It has a moulded brush with a hollow centre which is supposed to retain a lot of the mascara product. The brush is smaller than a standard mascara wand and it should make it easier to apply. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It is very easy to apply and after a couple of coats you are good to go. I also found that it slightly curled the tips of my lashes. The effects hold all day and I do like the brush. I would definitely be interested in purchasing a full sized tube, but it will have to wait as I have quite a few mascaras still to test! I thought I would share with you my thoughts on a FREE lipgloss sample I received a while back from an online Debenhams order I made. It is Sweet Peach Oil Lipgloss in Pure Peach by Too Faced and it is a 1g sample of the full sized lipgloss. It contains peach oil, coconut oi and vitamin E. These ingredients soften and moisturise the lips. The lipgloss is available in eight different shades and they all smell like peaches (they are supposed to taste like peaches too). The shade I have is described as a peachy pink. It is quite pigmented for a lipgloss and it does apply very smooth. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips and it does feel moisturising. It also smells amazing! It is not as sticky as your average lipgloss either because of the added oils. Today I have a mini mascara to share with you. It is In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to give your lashes extreme volume, a deep black colour and give them a slight curl. I didn’t reckon much to this mascara at all! It coated my lashes in black pigment, separated them, made them look defined and gave them a slight curl, but no volume! I don’t know if the formula just doesn’t like my lashes or whether the brush is different. The brush kind of looks different to the full sized tube from photos I have seen, but I don’t know why they wouldn’t use the same brush for the sample because the brush makes the formula work. I’m guessing I would have to purchase the full size to find out, which I will not be doing. This was my first ever experience with MAC mascaras and it hasn’t put me off. I recently received this sample with an online beauty order and I have heard of this product before. It was the packaging that caught my attention most. It is Fresh Couture by MOSCHINO and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de toilette. It contains a mixture notes such as; Bergamot, Raspberry, Peony, Ylang-Ylang, Ambroxan and Patchouli. It is quite a strong scent for an EDT, but it is really nice and not overpowering. It smells similar to a scent I have tested before, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. It doesn’t strike me as being your traditional female scent, so it is probably universal. I would class it as a deep musky floral scent. Overall, the bottle design is very original, sadly the scent is not. I definitely won’t be buying a full sized bottle as it doesn’t give me the WOW factor. I got this sample as a gift with purchase a while ago when I shopped online. It is Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez and it is a 0.8ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. It contains very few notes such as; Gardenia, White Rose, Musk, Vetiver, Cedar and White Cedar Extract. It smells quite powdery and musky when you first spray it, after it settles it just smells very floral. It is what I would call a vintage scent (some people would say old lady). It is definitely not my cup of tea and is more suited to mature women. It kind of reminds me of one of the Alice perfumes by Vivienne Westwood.
