I decided to purchase a sample of this perfume online as I missed out on the free sample offer on Facebook (I had no idea it was being offered). I have wanted to try this fragrance for a very long time and I have seen the advertisements with Charlize Theron countless times over the years. For some reason, I just didn’t look for it to test so I thought it was about time I did. An advertisement popped up on Facebook with an offer of a free sample of this new fragrance and I clicked straight away! I have smelled this particular fragrance before. I remember at one point walking down the street and every other woman that passed me, smelled of this fragrance. This was a few years ago now, but it is still an incredibly popular scent. I have another perfume sample to share today. Again, I can’t remember how long I have had this one, but I know I haven’t smelled it before. This scent isn’t actually new to me, but I thought I would post about it anyway. It is another sort of spin-off scent.   It is Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de toilette.   “ Ethereal and luminous, an irresistible fruity floral with delectable notes of blackberry, jasmine and wisteria ” Launched: 2014   Type: Floral Fruity Notes Top: Blackberry, Pear and Grapefruit. Middle: Wisteria, Litchi and Jasmine. Base: Musk, Coconut and White Wood. This is a very florally fresh scent with a fruit twist. It does actually smell dreamy to me! I can mostly smell the Blackberry, Grapefruit, Litchi and Musk notes. I have previously smelled this perfume as my sister used to have it and I love the bottle design. It is quite a light scent and it is not very strong as it settles down, I would usually prefer something stronger as I like to be able to smell it when I am wearing it. I’ve had this sample for a while now and I’ve only just decided to test it. It is most definitely a floral scent with a slight fresh and fruity twist. It is not overpoweringly strong and I would say it is more of a feminine fragrance. This is another perfume sample that I have had for a very long time. This is a spin-off scent of an original scent by DKNY.   It is Golden Delicious by DKNY and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   Launched: 2010   Type: Floral Woody Musk Notes Top: Red Apple, African Orange Flower and Plum. Middle: Lily-Of-The-Valley, Lily, Orchid and Rose. Base: Sandalwood, Teak Wood and Musk. This is a nice, light fresh scent and it does smell like the other Delicious fragrances I have tried, but with it’s own extra twist. It isn’t really an original smelling scent as I have previously owned a few scents that it reminds me of. I can definitely detect the Red Apple, African Orange Flower, Orchid and Musk notes. It doesn’t really smell woody to me at all; it is a light floral scent with a sparkling fruit twist I would say. I have another perfume sampler today. I can’t remember how I got the sample or how long I’ve had it, but I thought it was about time to give it a whiff!   It is BonBon by Viktor & Rolf and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. Launched: 2014   Type: Floral & Fruity Notes Top: Peach, Mandarin Orange and Orange. Middle: Caramel, Orange Blossom and Jasmine. Base: Amber, Sandalwood, Guaiac Wood and Cedar. This is a delicate scent and I definitely get the floral and fruity notes. I can mostly smell the orange blossom, jasmine and amber, with a slight hint of caramel. It smells quite strong when you first spray it and then it tones down a bit. It is a nice scent, but it isn’t unique. I was expecting it to smell a little bit sweeter. I’ve had this sample for a while now and I’ve only just decided to test it. I once sent off for a perfume sample from Lancôme on Facebook and periodically they still send me samples of their new perfume releases. I received this one a while ago (ages after it first launched), but I have only just got around to testing it.   It is Idôle by Lancôme and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   Launched: 2019   Type: Floral Notes Top: Pear and Bergamot. Middle: Turkish Rose, Rose de Mai and Indian Jasmine. Base: White Musk and Vanilla. It is a really light spring time floral scent. It isn’t too mature smelling and it is not overpowering. It reminds me of the Gucci Flora and Hugo Boss Ma Vie perfumes a little. I can really smell the Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine and Musk notes. It is a fresh floral scent and would be good for day time wear. I received this perfume sample for FREE when I spent over a certain amount of money on a LookFantastic.com order. I actually purchased the full sized bottle (90ml) of the Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Parfum.   It is My Way by Armani and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   It contains a mixture of notes such as; Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Tuberose, Indian Jasmine, Madagascar Vanilla, White Musk and Virginian Cedar. This strikes me as a mature scent. It smells like something I have tested before, but I can’t quite recall the name of it. It is a very delicate and light fragrance and is definitely floral based. It is not my typical scent, but I do appreciate it. I can really smell the bergamot, tuberose, jasmine and musk notes. This is a new perfume release for this year. I came across it by pure chance when I was asked to choose some free samples when I made a FeelUnique.com order. This scent was one of the two I chose to receive. It is Irresistible by GIVENCHY and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “ Rose effervescent. Luscious rose dancing with radiant blond wood ” It contains a mixture of notes such as; Pear, Ambrette, Rose, Iris, Virginia Cedar and Musk. When it is first sprayed, it kind of smells like soap. As it starts to dry down, it still smells slightly soapy but the ambrette, rose, iris and musk notes start to peek through. Once it has fully dried down it smells less soapy and more florally. It is definitely a more soft mature scent. It does smell nice, fresh and does remind me of spring. It isn’t a scent I am typically drawn to, so I probably will not buy a bottle of it.
