Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette

This palette has been around for a while now and I always thought it looked stunning, but I just didn’t buy it. I recently decluttered my make-up collection and I allowed myself to get this palette (I almost bought the Amrezy one instead). I didn’t know it was still available and I found it purely by chance. I thought when it was first released it was classed as a limited edition product! The packaging is the usual ABH slim rectangle shape and it is wrapped in a sort of sparkly blue and white striped denim material. The palette and brad names are printed in a sparkly gold font. The palette has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. There is a small mirror and the square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a metallic azure blue base, with the shade names printed in a small gold font. You can purchase this palette for £46.00 ($57.00) from AnastasiaBeverlyHills.co.uk, AnastasiaBeverlyHills.com and FeelUnique.com. You get fourteen 0.73g eyes

Becca's Babble's #5: My Favourite Films

Last month I shared with you my current favourite songs and today I thought I would mention my all-time favourite films. I might do another post on my favourite TV series, but that would probably be a very long list. Here are my top twelve favourite films (in year and alphabetical order):- The Wizard of Oz (1939) This is the oldest of my favourite films and it is a classic! I don’t think a synopsis is needed by me for this film. It is a really magical film, especially for the era it was made in where there was no CGI and they had to get creative for the special effects. I really enjoy this colourful, magical and musical film. Return to Oz (1985) The film is set after Dorothy returns home from Oz. It isn’t really a continuation of the Wizard of Oz film as it was made decades later and doesn’t feature any original cast. It also isn’t a musical. Dorothy finds herself back in Oz and realises it needs saving from some terrible people as a lot has changed there since she retur

Serial Sampler #21

I have another perfume sample to test today. It is a spin-off of an already cult favourite scent. I actually love the original and it is my current favourite perfume. I have already owned one spin off scent and I thought I would test this one out too. It is Lady Million Empire by Paco Rabanne and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. It contains a mixture of notes such as; Orange, Neroli Essence, Red Currant, Magnolia, Orange Blossom, Osmanthus, Mirabelle, Cognac, Patchouli and White Musk. It smells nothing like the original Lady Million perfume, but it is nice. You get a hint of spice and it is kind of warm, soft, powdery and musky in one go. It is definitely more of a floral scent and it is not in your face and overpowering. The original one can be overpowering if you spray too much of it. The floral notes do kind of smell sparkly and fresh, if that makes sense? I get a slight hint of what I am guessing is the Cognac, but I have never actually smelle

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Discontinued Products I Want Back!

Don’t you just hate it when a brand discontinues your favourite product? Well, I certainly do! I thought I would share with you the products I wish weren’t discontinued. I have re-used some of my old photos for the products, I apologise for the quality. Here are the ten discontinued products I could think of so far:-   Avril Lavigne Black Star Eau de Parfum This perfume was launched way back in 2009 and it is still one of my favourites to this day. I haven’t actually smelled anything like it. The notes are; Black Currant, Mango, Pear, Jasmine, Lotus, Hibiscus, Musk, Sandalwood, Vanille and Mexican Chocolate. It was discontinued a few years ago, I’m not exactly sure when. I remember last seeing it for sale around 2013-2015. I don’t know why it was discontinued because it was a stunning fragrance. I used up my last bottle around two years ago and I am so sad it is no longer available. You can still find old bottles of it on eBay but bottles are being advertised for £100.00+! I

SIGMA Cor-De-Rosa Palette

I first saw this palette in one of Porcelain’s (Bridgette) YouTube videos and I instantly fell in love with it! I tried to find it online to buy it, but it wasn’t actually available yet. So I had to wait a bit, but I finally got my hands on this beauty. I believe Cor-de-Rosa means Pink in Portuguese. The packaging is long and rectangular in shape. It is made out of peachy pink cardboard and it has a rose gold rose design all over the front with the brand and palette names printed in white font. It has a magnetic opening/closing, which you lift up to reveal the square eyeshadow pans arranged on a warm beige base. The eyeshadow shade names are printed under each pan in a metallic copper font. There is also a small long rectangular mirror. You can purchase it for £39.00 ($49.00) from SigmaBeauty.com, FeelUnique.com, BeautyBay.com and LookFantastic.com. You get fourteen 1.16g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes Double 14 Pan by SwatchPer

Maybelline LASH Sensational Mascara

I have tried a lot of the Maybelline Volum’ Express mascaras over the years and I thought I would give their newest addition a go. I love the colour of the packaging, it almost looks rose gold. It also has my favourite type of brush, rubber bristles! The packaging is a sort of rocket tube shape, just like the other Maybelline volum’ express mascaras. The tube is made of plastic and is a metallic blush pink colour. The writing and band between the top and bottom of the tube is black. The brush has a curved shape and is a rubber bristle brush. The formula is creamy but not too wet. You get 9.5ml of product in the tube and the shade I have is Black. You can purchase it for £8.99 ($9.99) from Boots, Superdrug and Ulta. This mascara claims to give you a layered and multiplied look, whilst lengthening and volumising your lashes. It has a new liquid formula with a low wax count which should create very dark and defined black lashes. The brush is Maybelline’s first layer-reveal bru
