Perfume Power! - Britney Spears 'Circus Fantasy'

I had wanted to smell this perfume for a very long time and I came across it recently on AllBeauty.com for a much discounted price, so I decided to bite the bullet and just buy it.

The bottle looks like all of the Fantasy range bottles, but this is a bright aqua blue colour with red diamantes. The band around the neck of the bottle is an icy shade of blue and the cap is the regular sphere shape made of plastic, but in a translucent blue colour. Lastly, it has the regular perfume spritzer to dispense the great smelling liquid.

The fragrance notes are:-

Top Notes: Raspberry, Apricot Blossom & Sugar

Middle Notes: Orchid, Peony & Water Lilly

Base Notes: Vanilla, Sweet, Musk, Wood & Violet

First of all, the bottle is gorgeous and extra cute because I have the smaller size! The scent is quite strong and feminine. You can really smell the mix of fruit and floral notes. I would say that this is a more floral perfume and I think that it is absolutely gorgeous. Because it has a strong scent and a good mix of middle and base notes, it lasts quite a long time on the skin and it makes you feel fresh.

Overall I think this scent is amazing and I really love it! I would definitely re-purchase and I truly recommend it.

Boots.com Haul #2 + Blog Sale Purchase

I thought I would share a haul with you today. I haven’t done one for a while but I recently ordered a few items from Boots and I wanted to let you know about it. This is a new perfume release for this year. I came across it by pure chance when I was asked to choose some free samples when I made a FeelUnique.com order. This scent was one of the two I chose to receive. It is Irresistible by GIVENCHY and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “ Rose effervescent. Luscious rose dancing with radiant blond wood ” It contains a mixture of notes such as; Pear, Ambrette, Rose, Iris, Virginia Cedar and Musk. When it is first sprayed, it kind of smells like soap. As it starts to dry down, it still smells slightly soapy but the ambrette, rose, iris and musk notes start to peek through. Once it has fully dried down it smells less soapy and more florally. It is definitely a more soft mature scent. It does smell nice, fresh and does remind me of spring. It isn’t a scent I am typically drawn to, so I probably will not buy a bottle of it. I received this perfume sample for FREE when I spent over a certain amount of money on a LookFantastic.com order. I actually purchased the full sized bottle (90ml) of the Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Parfum. It is My Way by Armani and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. It contains a mixture of notes such as; Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Tuberose, Indian Jasmine, Madagascar Vanilla, White Musk and Virginian Cedar. This strikes me as a mature scent. It smells like something I have tested before, but I can’t quite recall the name of it. It is a very delicate and light fragrance and is definitely floral based. It is not my typical scent, but I do appreciate it. I can really smell the bergamot, tuberose, jasmine and musk notes. I would recommend it, but I personally wouldn’t wear it.
