Recipe: Brownie In A Mug

Today I am going to share with you a quick yummy treat. I have made this quite a few times now and each time I thoroughly enjoy it.

INGREDIENTS

♥ 4tbs Plain Flour

♥ 2tbs Granulated Sugar

♥ 2tbs Cocoa Powder

♥ A Pinch of Salt

♥ 2tbs Vegetable Oil

♥ 2tbs Milk

METHOD

1. First, add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and salt into a mug and mix

2. Then add the oil and milk and mix together

3. Lastly, put it in the microwave for 1 minute

You can always add a topping of extra milk, some custard or cream to finish it off if you like. It is not a healthy snack, but it sure is tasty!

Boots.com Haul #2 + Blog Sale Purchase

I thought I would share a haul with you today. I haven’t done one for a while but I recently ordered a few items from Boots and I wanted to let you know about it. I bought the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette , which includes two sample sachets of the deep cleansing gel. I have been waiting for something like this and I cannot wait to try it. Serial Sampler #31

This is a new perfume release for this year. I came across it by pure chance when I was asked to choose some free samples when I made a FeelUnique.com order. This scent was one of the two I chose to receive. It is Irresistible by GIVENCHY and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “ Rose effervescent. Luscious rose dancing with radiant blond wood ” It contains a mixture of notes such as; Pear, Ambrette, Rose, Iris, Virginia Cedar and Musk. When it is first sprayed, it kind of smells like soap. As it starts to dry down, it still smells slightly soapy but the ambrette, rose, iris and musk notes start to peek through. Once it has fully dried down it smells less soapy and more florally. It is definitely a more soft mature scent. It does smell nice, fresh and does remind me of spring. It isn’t a scent I am typically drawn to, so I probably will not buy a bottle of it. I received this perfume sample for FREE when I spent over a certain amount of money on a LookFantastic.com order. I actually purchased the full sized bottle (90ml) of the Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Parfum. It is My Way by Armani and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. It contains a mixture of notes such as; Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Tuberose, Indian Jasmine, Madagascar Vanilla, White Musk and Virginian Cedar. This strikes me as a mature scent. It smells like something I have tested before, but I can’t quite recall the name of it. It is a very delicate and light fragrance and is definitely floral based. It is not my typical scent, but I do appreciate it. I can really smell the bergamot, tuberose, jasmine and musk notes. I would recommend it, but I personally wouldn’t wear it.
