I have wanted this palette for ages and BeautyBay.com had been sold out of it for the longest time! When I finally received a re-stock e-mail and snapped it up straight away. I almost purchased it when it first launched, but I changed my mind. I just couldn’t pass it up again, the packaging is absolutely stunning!

MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Like I said, the packaging is just beautiful! It matches the aesthetic of the Strawberry Dream Eyeshadow Palette and I cannot think of a better duo. They are quite pigmented shades and they can be built up for a more intense blush look. The shade Gravity is matte, but it does contain a few sparkles when you look at it in the pan. I didn’t notice the sparkles on my face. I am not into shimmer blushes, so I wasn’t looking forward to using Soleil. It is actually quite a nice shade and doesn’t look too bad on my complexion. I probably still won’t use it too much as I prefer a matte blush as I like to apply highlighter quite liberally! I would highly recommend this blush palette and I hope more LB palettes are released in this sort of packaging.

Perfume Power! - Christina Aguilera 'Woman'

I decided to buy this perfume as it was on my test list on Fragrantica and I saw it for a decent price. I have been struggling to find places to buy perfume samples lately, so I took a gamble and bought the smallest bottle size I could. I got the 30ml bottle in the eau de parfum. The bottle is made of glass and kind of an hourglass shape, just like some of Christina’s other perfumes. It has a yellow gold flower design on the thinnest part of the bottle and Christina’s name is printed in hot pink and the perfume name printed in yellow gold. It also has yellow gold banding around the neck for the cap to sit on. The cap is clear plastic and kind of diamond shaped. It has a slight yellow gold spritzer to dispense the scent. On the outer cardboard box it had this description; “A sensual combination of golden amber and white flowers - radiating femininity the way a woman does”. More e.l.f, you can obviously tell I really like their products. I only made my order because it was free shipping if you spent more than £10, so I bought the few items that were on my wishlist, otherwise I would have waited a lot longer, until I had reached the £30 mark, like I usually do. I wanted their regular £1.50 line blush in Shy, but it is not on the website anymore, unless you buy the small panned one. I wanted the full size because it is a dupe for MAC Well Dressed (which I have) and it’s bigger, so you get more for your £1.50.
