Glamour Magazine - July 2013

Yesterday I picked up the new edition of Glamour Magazine, well three copies of them actually! It is the July 2013 edition and you get a choice of five free MODEL ^COproducts and four different magazine covers (Rebel Wilson, Zooey Deschanel, Myleene Klass & Daniel Radcliffe). I have never heard of the MODEL ^CO brand before, but judging by their website, they are marketed as high end. I’m not sure what size the items in the magazines are, but I have listed the full sizes and prices below.

I decided to pick up two copies because this month’s edition is £1 instead of £2. I got the FIBRE LASHXTEND Mascara and COLOURBOX Eye Pencil in Black 01. When I got home and I opened them, I soon realised the eyeliner box was empty! L All the plastic packaging was intact, so it was a manufacturing fault. Luckily, my Mum was kind enough to get me another copy with the eyeliner, so I now have it.

You also get two free samples inside the magazine, a sachet of L’ORÉAL Hair Expertise EverRiche Shampoo - 10ml (Page 49) and a sachet of GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfection BB Cream - 1.5ml (Page 69).

Also what I think may be another manufacture fault is the fact that only one of the three magazines I picked up had the actual sample sachet of BB cream! But I can’t really complain because I got a new mascara and eyeliner a whole lot cheaper than the retail price!

Next month’s issue (August 2013) is out on the 8^th July and there are four free balance Me. products to choose from.

LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #6 - October 2020

I was hoping to have posted about this last Thursday, but it took a while for my box to arrive. There was an issue with some people’s subscriptions and it mean’t some orders were not generated for existing subscribers. The issue was corrected and I have now received my box. I have found myself listening to more music lately, seeing as though I have more time on my hands whilst the UK is on a sort of lockdown and I cannot go to work. By listening to more music, I mean more of the songs I have downloaded. I don’t really get to hear much new music as I do not listen to the radio or watch music channels on the TV. I am also kind of old school with music. I actually download the songs onto my PC instead of using a music streaming service. I just personally find it easier; I can then copy the songs to my phone. Streaming sites tend to delete their content after a while, but if you have the songs downloaded, you can never lose them until you delete them. I do subscribe to Amazon Music for my Echo Dot though, but I do find it incredibly frustrating when Alexa doesn’t understand what I want her to play, even though I am saying it in plain English!! Anyway...

Empties #1 - September 2012

I am going to share with you some products that I have used up over a period of time and tell you a bit about them and whether I liked them and whether I will re-purchase them or not. These were not used up in one month, but over several, but I’ll try and do monthly ones. In no particular order..... bliss Blood Orange + White Pepper Body Butter – 50ml I received this in a glossybox and it is the 50ml travel size and it smells really lovely. I don’t like orange scents, but this smelt really nice. It is paraben free and it really makes your body feel moisturised and the scent makes you feel clean. I used it on my arms and legs mostly. I really liked using this product, but I wouldn’t re-purchase it because I have three full size Soap & Glory body butters to use up and my favourite is Soap & Glory The Daily Smooth Body Butter, but if I ever fancy a change this one would be my first choice, maybe in the Lemon + Sage scent! £6.40 – click here!
