Graze - Box #1

Use this code for a FREE box: 3L3RDY3 (you must not already be a member to use this code) http://www.graze.com/

Graze is a website where you can purchase a weekly snack box, which contains healthy treats, such as, nuts and crackers. I say weekly but you can order as many as you want a week, apart from boxes are not sent for or on Sundays. Also if you want the fresh bread you can only order from Tuesday to Saturday. You get four different food items in every box unless you state you want the same thing to be sent out again.
The package came this morning in a biodegradable recycled board box. When you open the box there are four sections and each has a packet of healthy food samples. Underneath the sections there is a napkin. Each food comes in a small plastic box/packet, with a plastic film lid, which you peel to open. You also get a healthy food guide and some offer vouchers for your friends. All of the packaging is recyclable, so it is very earth friendly. I quite like the packaging because it is simple and displays all of the relevant information, but is also fully recyclable, which is definitely a bonus point.

Here’s what I received....
And a closer look at all four....
Lightly Toasted Pistachios
“Slightly toasted whole pistachios”
http://www.graze.com/products/browse/1008/nuts

They smell like they usually do, lovely. And they don’t really taste any different to regular pistachios, but slightly saltier, which is really nice.

Contains: Pistachio nuts and salt
Naked Goodness Seeds
“Pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds”
http://www.graze.com/products/browse/1011/seeds

They smell like seeds obviously, and slightly like uncooked rice seed. They do not taste very nice on their own, as it is like eating bird food, so I recommend that you use them in a salad.

Contains: Pumpkins seeds, Sesame seeds and Sunflower seeds
Cracking Black Peppercorn
“Crunchy rice crackers with cracked black pepper”
http://www.graze.com/products/browse/1014/crackers

They smell really nice and like black pepper and very crackery (if that’s a word). They actually smell quite spicy too. They taste a bit like ‘Snack a Jacks’ but spicy. As you take the last bite of the cracker you get the spicy black pepper taste all at once, which is actually quite pleasant.

Contains: Rice, Vegetable oil, Soy sauce (soybean, wheat, salt), Sugar, Tapioca starch, Corn maltodextrin, Chilli, black pepper, Garlic powder and Onion powder
Cheddar Gorge
“Cheese cashews, salsa corn sticks & herb crackers”
http://www.graze.com/products/browse/1014/crackers

The packet as a whole smells really spicy.

The cheese cashews have a slight and subtle cheesy scent and taste a bit like cream cheese sauce.

The salsa corn sticks smell like really spicy corn, funnily enough! They taste spicy and quite salty too and also like salted tortilla chips/crisps.

The herb crackers have a slight herb scent, but it’s not over powering. They taste a bit odd and like herbs and the texture is also quite weird and a bit like popcorn, but they are nice.

The Cheese Cashews Contain: Cashew nuts, Lactose, Salt, Natural flavourings, Onion powder, Sugar, Yeast extract, Garlic powder, Cheese powder (cheese, whey powder), Paprika, Curcumin, Sunflower oil and Rosemary
The Salsa Corn Sticks Contain: Corn, Vegetable oil, Lactose, Natural chilli flavour, Chilli powder, Onion powder, Garlic powder, Salt and Citric acid

The Herb Crackers Contain: Rice, Rice bran oil, Sugar, Tapioca starch, Soy sauce (soybean, wheat, tapioca starch, caramel), Salt, Tomato, Oregano, Onion, Pepper, Disodium guanylate and Disodium inosinate

My favourites from the box are the Lightly Toasted Pistachios, Cracking Black Peppercorns and the Salsa Corn Sticks. I would not try the Naked Goodness Seeds again because I am not crazy about seeds or salad and they don’t really serve any purpose to me.

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shi...

KALEIDOS Futurism II: Cyber Bronze Palette

I have seen these palettes before on YouTube, a few people I follow have featured them in palette collection videos. The colour stories always looked incredible, but I knew I probably wouldn’t get much use out of them as the colours are bright and you are limited to six shades. I had only really seen the Futurism III: Astro-Pink , Futurism I: Sci-Fi Green , Futurism IV: VR Neon and Futurism V: Electro-Turquoise ones before. When I made my first Kaleidos order, I didn’t bother looking at the palettes as I knew I wanted the highlighters and it was going to be pricey as it was. I was browsing through Depop on the day my order arrived and came across the Futurism II: Cyber Bronze Palette . I think the seller must have received her order the same day as me. I instantly fell in love with the colour story, but I pondered over whether to purchase it or not. At 3am the next morning (insomnia), I bit the bullet and made my purchase. It was brand new and untouched, I just couldn’t! THE P...

Violet Voss X Laura Lee Palette

After being blown away by the Holy Grail Palette, I just couldn’t pass on this one! The shade selection doesn’t appeal to me as much, but I know the quality will be there. Also, this palette is limited edition so I wouldn’t recommend hesitating if you are interested in it. I believe this palette is a collaboration with a YouTuber called Laura Lee. I don’t know anything about Laura, but from what I gather she makes beauty videos. The palette design is similar to the Holy Grail Palette but the colour scheme is different, but it still has the holographic effect on the packaging. It has a rectangular shape to it and it is slightly bulky and has a little weight to it. It has a magnetic closing and when you lift the lid it reveals the eyeshadow pans and a mirror. The packaging colour scheme is black and silver. You get twenty 36g eyeshadows in a variety of shades and finishes.
