Glossybox #2 - January 2012

This is the Limited Edition hot pink January Valentine Glossybox. The box is a really lovely colour and you get a cute sweet as well. Next month will be the first time I receive the regular Glossybox with their like pink coloured box. Here is what I got. 1.      EYEKO Skinny Eyeliner in Emerald Green (Full Size) I haven’t tried this out on my eye yet but I am expecting good things, because it was quite soft and pigmented when I swatched it on my hand. The beauty card, that comes with every glossybox says this eyeliner Provides “precise definition and intense colour with a long-lasting finish”. Visit  www.eyeko.com  and enter GLOSSY in the comment box to get a free gift with any purchase. (Expires 01/03/2012) 2.      ORLY Nail Lacquer in Ruby (5.3ml Sample Size) I have not tried this out yet, but the colour looks really nice and it is my first Orly polish. The beauty card says “Orly, the top Californian brand, off...

EOTD #6 - Shopping Alone

I decided not to do a lot on my eyes as I could not be bothered to be honest. I am also going shopping in a bit, on my own... how sad, I don’t mind though, I won’t be out long. Eyes:- On my eyelids and lower lashes I have Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Sippin’ n Dippin’ . For eyeliner I used Rimmel Special Eyes Precision Eye Liner Pencil in 161 Black Magic on my upper lash line and waterline. For mascara I used 17 Falsifeye Mascara in Blackest Black on my upper lashes and Barry M Lengthening Mascara in Shade 11 Electric Purple on my lower lashes and the tips of my upper lashes. Lastly I used Vaseline Lip Therapy in Original on my eyebrows as a wax so I could use the Rimmel Colour Rush Quad Eyeshadow in 002 Smokey Brun (the hazel colour) to fill in my eyebrows. Lips:- I used EOS Lipbalm in Passion Fruit to prepare my lips and then I used e.l.f Studio Matte Lip Colour in Tea Rose . Face:- I primed my face with MUA Professional Face Primer and then I u...

Glossybox #1 - December 2011

As you can tell I recently subscribed to the Glossybox. I actually thought I was getting the January 2012 box, but apparently I was too early for that and got sent the Limited Edition December 2011 box, which by the way I am happy with. Glossybox are a website which you can subscribe to for £12.95 (UK) a month and receive a box containing 5 luxury samples of beauty products that may not be widely available in your country or maybe too expensive for you to even consider trying. I received the Limited Edition December 2011 box, which is red instead of pink. And I got 5 items, and 2 were full sized. All of the products in the box are useful to me apart from the cream, but other than that, this box has definitely got me to stay subscribed to see what the January box has to offer. 1.     BLINK+Go Hi-Definition Mascara in Black (8g Full Size) I haven’t tried this out yet but I am expecting good things. The beauty card, that comes with every glossybox says t...

1st Haul of 2012

From Superdrug I purchased yet another Barry M Nail Paint. This one has been on my list for a while though, it is called 310 Mushroom and it is just a beige/brown colour, and cost £2.99, which gave me 2 BeautyCard Points. Today from Boots I bought two Soap & Glory Gift Sets called ‘Soaper Heroes’ for £12.77 and ‘Yum At Heart’ for £8 (was £16). The Soaper Heroes gift set is not a Christmas one; I think it is a kind of permanent line set, whereas the Yum At Heart gift set was for Christmas. In the Soaper Heroes set you get a 100ml Girligo Body Mist, 50ml Righteous Body Butter, 50ml Flakeaway Body Scrub, 75ml Clean on Me shower gel and 50ml Hair Supply Hair Repair Mask. Soap & Glory describe this as a mini travel size selection of their most loved products. In the Yum At Heart set you get a 125ml Hand Food hand cream, 300ml The Breakfast Scrub and a Print Apron. At the weekend I picked up a Maybelline The One by One Volum’ Express Mascara for £8.49 from Boots. There wa...
