Glossybox #2 - January 2012

This is the Limited Edition hot pink January Valentine Glossybox. The box is a really lovely colour and you get a cute sweet as well. Next month will be the first time I receive the regular Glossybox with their like pink coloured box.

Here is what I got.

1. EYEKO Skinny Eyeliner in Emerald Green (Full Size)

I haven’t tried this out on my eye yet but I am expecting good things, because it was quite soft and pigmented when I swatched it on my hand. The beauty card, that comes with every glossybox says this eyeliner Provides “precise definition and intense colour with a long-lasting finish”.

2. ORLY Nail Lacquer in Ruby (5.3ml Sample Size)

3. WELEDA One Step Cleanser & Toner (10ml Sample Size)

I tried this once and you don’t get enough to see if it works, but it doesn’t really interest me, I am just using it to use it up! I also don’t like that you have to wash it off and the scent reminds of a children’s cough medicine, which I like by the way, very lemony! 4. FAB (First Aid Beauty) Gentle Body Wash (56.7g Sample Size)

I have tried this and it doesn’t interest me at all! I also don’t like that it does not smell of anything, I buy body washes for their scent. I am just going to use this up!. The beauty card says “A moisturising, irritant-free everyday cleanser ideal for even the most sensitive skin”.

5. MURAD Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer – Dewy Finish (5ml Sample Size)

I haven’t used this yet but I will probably just use it as a basic primer and not really take much notice of the skin perfecting, as the sample is too small to do so, but we’ll see!. The beauty card says “Oil-free primer ignites a radiant glow, powered by light-enhancing minerals”.

Katie Price 'Stunning' Perfume VS JoJo Siwa 'Be You' Perfume - Are they the same?

I was browsing on AllBeauty.com and looking at celebrity fragrances and I saw that one was listed for JoJo Siwa. I had heard of JoJo before, but I don’t really know anything about her. I clicked on it out of interest and when I first saw the image of the perfume, I thought maybe the wrong photograph had been uploaded until I clicked on it and saw the description of the perfume. When I first saw the photograph, before I clicked on it to read the description, I instantly thought, that’s Stunning by Katie Price! I looked into it a bit more and compared it to Stunning. The JoJo Siwa “version” is called Be You. Swatches: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils

Milk (604) - cream, bold & opaque matte white Yoghurt (611) - frosty, light champagne copper These pencils are really creamy and the shade selection is brilliant. I chose two basic shades, one to be a light base and the other to be a highlight. They do crease and can become messy, as you have to sharpen them. Perfume Power! - DKNY 'Be Delicious'

Photo: FashionDayDreams.com My Mum went to a car boot sale and found this and bought it. My Mum didn’t like it so she gave it to my sister and then my sister gave it to me. The bottle is a sphere shape inspired by an apple. On the smaller sizes the cap is basic like on most perfumes and is made of silver reflective plastic. The bottle base is made of translucent bottle green glass. On the bigger sizes the cap doesn’t come off and it is the actual dispenser, so when you press it down the perfume sprays. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Grapefruit, Cucumber & Magnolia Middle Notes: Tuberose, Rose, Lily-of-the-Valley, Violet & Green Apple Base Notes: Sandalwood, Amber & Wood This perfume smells fruity, floral and fresh and the apple scent really stands out. It is also quite a strong scent, but it is not overpowering. I also think that it is quite universal as it is not sweet. Lastly because the scent is quite strong, it lasts quite a long time...
