Perfume Power! - Taylor Swift 'Wonderstruck'

Photo: HerWorldPlus.com
I actually received this as a free sample size (1.2ml), but I decided to do a review anyway, because you get enough of the scent to be able to give it a proper review, like you would a bottle size. * Click here to see what the sample looks like *

The bottle design looks very pretty and definitely something I would love to have. The charms around the neck also look lovely, but MissBudgetBeauty bought it in 30ml and it didn’t have the charms, so the charms must be exclusive to the bigger sizes, which is a shame seeing as though I tend to buy 30ml, unless I really love the scent.

The fragrance notes are:-

Top Notes: Freesia, Green Tea, Blackberry, Raspberry & Apple Blossom
Middle Notes: Vanilla, Honeysuckle & Hibiscus
Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Amber & Peach

It does smell really nice and not as young as you would expect, it reminds me of a fruitier Loverdose by Diesel, without the liquorice. I can smell the peach, raspberry, apple blossom and vanilla notes and it lasts about an hour at full power on the skin, and because it is not overpowering and strong smelling. It lasts quite a few hours, like most perfumes tend to.

Overall I don’t think I will be buying it. It smells really lovely, but I'm not completely sure it's for me, but you never know!

Also in June 2012 Taylor Swift released another version of the perfume in the USA called Enchanted Wonderstruck, which is in a red bottle, of the same design.

Glossybox #17 - October 2015

I can’t believe that we are nearly half way through October already! It seems like the year has flown by recently. I wasn’t really looking forward to this box, but it has surprised me a bit. Here is what I received this month: So Susan Haute Light Highlighting Pencil | £15.00 | I prefer a highlighter like Benefit High Beam, so it will be interesting to see how this works. It does come across relatively creamy for a sharp jumbo pencil. Talika Photo-Hydra Day Moisturiser | 30ml - £24.85 | Another moisturiser for your face is always very useful.  I can’t really see it being anything special. Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge | £6.50 | This looks quite a bit like the BeautyBlender, but has a different shape. I imagine it will do the exact same thing, but it is a lot cheaper option. I am interested in giving it a try, although I prefer the old finger and hand method of applying foundation and concealer. Jelly Pong Pong Play Paint in Damson | £8.95 | It ...

HUDA BEAUTY Purple Haze Obsessions Palette

I’ve previously only tried one HUDA BEAUTY mini palette before, but this one really caught my eye. I almost bought the Khaki version too. I eventually decided on only picking up the purple one as I wasn’t massively impressed with the Topaz Obsessions Palette I previously tried.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is made of translucent purple plastic and it is square shaped. It just has the palette branding across the front in place of a design and it has a clip closing, which you lift up to reveal the square eyeshadow pans arranged in threes across an opaque matte purple base. The eyeshadows do not have names. There is also a little mirror on the underside of the lid. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get nine 0.64g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME) and Shimmery Topper (ST) finishes.   ·          Smokey Shades ·          Buttery Mattes ·          Intense Metal...
