Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size.

The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved.

I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear. It is actually an eau de toilette, which means that it is less concentrated, but I find that it is stronger than most eau de parfum’s and for £12 for a totally GORGEOUS scent, it is a bargain!

This is my all-time favourite perfume and has sadly been discontinued, but I am hoping Next realise it is a big mistake and re-launch it.

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers.
