Lancôme Juicy Tube in Toffee R'n'B

Toffee R’n’B (93) - a light peach colour with pink, green & gold sparkles It is quite sticky and I don't like the scent of toffee (yucky)! This shade is no longer available, check eBay. £15.50 – Lancome.co.uk

Impulsive Spraying....

Spray me, I’m Impulsive.... This is a review on canned body sprays I have tried and some I still have because I love them. I was initially going to just review the Impulse ones, but I decided to include the Wilko’s ones too as a less expensive option, plus I love one of them. Impulse Impulse is a perfume deodorant/body spray brand, which is part of the Unilever brand of products. It was first launched in 1972 in South Africa, but only launched in the UK in 1981. They have a wide range of scents compatible for all females of all ages. I have also tried Very Pink , but I used it up a while ago and didn’t want to re-purchase it just for this review, but it was a very nice scent, but not one I would re-purchase. I have also tested a Hint of Musk , when I was younger and I didn’t like it! I have also got two other one’s to try, which I will do a separate review on and they are Loving Words and Love Puzzle . True Love I first knew of this scent when I received it in a gift...

Review: Rimmel Wake Me Up

Wake Me Up Foundation I bought this after seeing the advertisement for it on Rimmel’s Facebook, and I thought the description sounded perfect for me. The packaging is made of glass and it has a curved shape, with the Rimmel logo and product name printed in the centre on a bit of plastic tape. The cap is a slanted block shape made of plastic and it is a bright orange colour with glitter sparkle. This product has an orange plastic pump, which dispenses the product. All the relevant information is printed on the back, like most products. It is also packaged in a plastic wrapper, with a security tag. This product is marketed as a foundation that “instantly reawakens skin, with a healthy, radiant glow”. It is also mean’t to be light weight and give a poreless and flawless complexion. It also contains SPF15 for sun protection and illuminating pearls, which is mean’t to give your face a natural glow. It is also mean’t to “bounce your skin back to life” and banish the signs of fat...

Glamour Magazine - December 2012

I went and bought a Glamour Magazine earlier after seeing a post on someone’s blog, because I noticed they were giving away Nails Inc nail polishes again! I wanted the gold shade and was interested in the blue shade, but when I got to the shelf there was only one magazine left and it had the blue colour in it. I picked it up anyway! There are four nail polishes to choose from:- Motcomb Street – a navy blue St James – a pillar box red Glamour Glitter – a sparse gold glitter Elizabeth Street – a delicate nude cream After seeing pictures of Glamour Glitter earlier, I’m glad it wasn’t there, because it is not what I was expecting. I might get St James, but I will not be getting Elizabeth Street, as the colour does not appeal to me! When I was looking through the magazine I found two make-up samples.... Perfume Power! - DKNY 'Be Delicious Fresh Blossom'

I bought this perfume as a birthday present for my sister, as she really liked it and after smelling it on her all the time, I decided to buy it for myself. The bottle is the same apple sphere shape, like all the Be Delicious variants. This one is a smaller size, so it has the reflective silver plastic basic cap. This bottle’s base is also made of translucent glass, but it is clear and the colour comes from the liquid, which is a really light pink colour. Click here to read my review of the original Be Delicious. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Grapefruit, Cassis & Apricot Middle Notes: Lily-of-the-Valley, Rose & Jasmine Base Notes: Red Apple & Wood This perfume also smells quite fruity and florally and again the apple really stands out, but I find that it is not as sweet as the original Be Delicious, which has green apple instead of red. The floral notes also stand out more, which gives it a really girly and dainty feel that is not overpowe...

Empties #2 - October 2012

I am going to try and do these posts monthly, but I don’t tend to use a lot of stuff up, apart from boring products, such as, deodorant and mouthwash. But I promise I will try! T-Zone Clear Pore Anti-Bacterial Cleanser – 200ml Since using this I haven’t really noticed a difference, apart from my forehead may look shiner as this has oil in it. I am already working my way through a second bottle, so I will be able to ‘monitor’ it! I am going to try a different cleanser though, when the second bottle has gone. £2.99 – click here! Dove Invisible Dry Deodorant – 250ml I am still using this and I currently have three back-ups. £3.69 – click here! Tesco Baby Ultra Soft Fragranced Wipes (alcohol free) – 64 Wipes I got these because they were on a 3 for 2 offer. I just used them to wipe my make-up off before I wash my face. I am currently working my way through the third packet. 98p – click here! Morrisons Large Oval Cotton Wool Pads (100% cotton) – 50 pads I go...
