Serial Sampler #4

I have another perfume sample for you today and it’s one I have had for a while now.

It’s Valentina by Valentino and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.

“Valentina marks out a solar, unexpected trail, classic yet modern”.
It contains notes, such as, bergamot, jasmine, strawberry and amber. It smells really delicate and fresh. It is quite strong, but elegant and it’s the strawberry note that mixes up the floral notes and makes it special.

I really like this perfume and it’s one I would consider purchasing in a full size bottle.

Review: Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil

This was the second eyebrow pencil I had ever tried because I wanted something that was inexpensive and maybe had an applicator with it. The product just looks like an eyeliner pencil, but on the side of the cap there is a grooming brush. The cap colour reflects the actual product colour. To apply it, you take off the cap and put it on the end of the pencil. You then just fill in your eyebrows like you would normally, just add more pressure to the pencil if you want a darker look. You can then turn the pencil upside down and use the brush. The formula is really soft and you can tell it has some wax built in to it. You get 1.4g of product and the shade I have is 002 Hazel , which is a light honey brown shade. This brow pencil is supposed to be brilliant for filling the gaps in your brows and great for lengthening your arc for a natural look. BY BEAUTY BAY New Romantic Palette

I first saw the tease post of this palette on Beauty Bay’s Instagram page on 29 th January and it was a black and white photo, so you couldn’t see the colour story but some of the shades names were a little bit of a giveaway to some possible shades (Raspberry, Flamingo and Khaki etc). On the 31 st January, they posted another tease photo of the shade Queen and this really when the colour story was confirmed. The full reveal post was on 1 st February, the same day as the palette launched. I bought it on launch day; I half expected it to already be sold out, but luckily for me it wasn’t. The formula of the eyeshadows looked like in the NikkieTutorials Palette, which I hoped the shimmers would be as they are stunning. Beauty Bay also had two other palettes that are the same sort of concept; Sunset Horizons and Book of Magic (discontinued).
