Perfume Power! - Katie Price 'Stunning'

I received this perfume as a present for my 17th birthday.

The bottle design is very simple and feminine. It is diamond inspired, with a diamond shaped cap and the bottle is a classic Hollywood style shape. There is also a silver coloured plastic band around the neck of the bottle, which displays the perfume name, as well as Katie’s name.

The fragrance notes are:-

Mandarin, Jasmine, Patchouli & other unknown notes, possibly floral!

To me it smells fruity and floral, with a hint of musk. I can smell the mandarin, which I think gives the scent an oriental feel. It is slightly a mature scent, which still smells young and fresh, so it appeals to women of all ages. I couldn’t find a list of the full notes, but if you were to smell it, you may be able to pick certain notes out. It also lasts quite a while on your skin.

Next also have a perfume called Diamonds, which is almost identical, if you have good ‘scent detectors’, you will notice that there is a slight difference between the two perfumes. Next Diamonds is £10 for 100ml of eau de parfum.

I have already re-purchased this perfume in the 100ml size and it is one of my most liked scents, but not really a favourite!

Boots.com Haul #2 + Blog Sale Purchase

I thought I would share a haul with you today. I haven’t done one for a while but I recently ordered a few items from Boots and I wanted to let you know about it. I bought the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette , which includes two sample sachets of the deep cleansing gel. I have been waiting for something like this and I cannot wait to try it. I simply refuse to buy the Sigma version, plus I don’t think it needs to be that big. I also got a packet of the Oral-B Precision Clean Electric Toothbrush Heads because they were on offer and I got eight for the price of four. Natural Collection by Boots - Body Sprays

I bought these online a while ago, mainly because I was obsessed with finding an apple scented body spray and I found one from Natural Collection and then I saw two other scents I wanted to test. I got all three because they were not sold in my store and I knew they would smell nice and they can also be used as room and linen sprays. There are a total of six scents on the site at the moment. Wild Strawberry, which my sister had and we both didn’t like it because it was really strong and sickly sweet. I also tested the Ice Musk and I didn’t like it and I haven’t tried the Vanilla, but I’m not keen on vanilla scents anyway and I know I wouldn’t like it. The last one is Samphire and Sea Minerals, which I haven’t tried before, but it sounds nice and on reviews people have said it is really clean and fresh smelling, so I might have to go and have a sniff sometime.
