Glossybox #19 - December 2015

I have been really looking forward to this box as I knew it would be rose gold themed. All the products were carefully selected by the Beauty Blogger ReallyRee, for this special looking limited edition Christmas box. Here is what I received:-

This product is a bit odd and really doesn’t appeal to me at all!

So Susan Statement Skin Highlighter Pencil in Starlight

This is a very strange colour and the cream shape is odd too. I am not interested in this product one bit. I prefer light pink highlighters and this is a yellow gold shade, not flattering at all for my skin tone!

COLLECTION Long Lasting Nail Effects in Touch of Glamour (31)

| 8ml - £2.99 |

This nail polish looks really pretty and it is definitely my kind of shade (rose gold). I am looking forwarded to trying it on my nails. I think it would look beautiful on it’s own.

Hylamide Pore Delete

This is something I am interested in. Hopefully it will do something positive for the troublesome pores on my nose.

essence Liquid Lipstick in Show Off

This is an amazing colour and the pigmentation is astounding, but I just wouldn’t use it. I dislike liquid lipsticks because they are like lip-glosses, which I hate and the bright colour of this particular product scares me!

Starskin Bio-Cellulose Second Skin Mask

I’ve not used a sheet mask before and I am interested in trying it, but I can’t say I will bother with another. It’s just easier for me to quirt a mask out and rub it on my face and leave it, rather than worrying about taking it out of the packet carefully and unfolding it correctly to place on my face.

Overall this was a good box, but slightly disappointing. I was expecting more considering it was put together by a Beauty Blogger, but I do love the box design. Was I the only one expecting to get a glittering rose gold bauble, especially considering it is supposed to be the Christmas edition of Glossybox?

Swatches: Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 206 Nude Pink

Nude Pink (206) - it is a nude salmon pink with shimmer (frost) It is a beautiful colour and nice and creamy in consistency and although described as a nude pink it comes across more coral and it is very frosty. £4.99 - UK.RimmelLondon.com

Perfume Power! - Harajuku Lovers 'G'

I received this perfume as an Easter gift from a family member. The bottle design is really cute. It has a doll figure cap, which lifts off and the actual bottle is clear and simple glass, it kind of has a flower shaped base. The size I have is very small, so it is handy for your handbag. And I suppose you could keep the doll for collector’s purposes, when you have used up the perfume. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Crisp Mandarin, Fresh Coconut & Apple Skin Middle Notes: Jasmine Sambac, Soft Freesia & Magnolia Vapour Base Notes: Coconut Cream, White Sandalwood & Cottonwoods To me it smells really strong for an eau de toilette. I quite like the scent because it is very feminine and quite sweet. The only thing I don’t like about it is the coconut. I don’t really like the coconut scent anyway. Other than that, it smells amazing, until the coconut hits your nose. I can also smell the floral side to it as well, the coconut does complement the flor...

Make-Up Declutter 2022

This is the last ever declutter post I will be sharing with you. I have lost interest in really experimenting with my make-up looks so I thought it was time for another declutter. I was a little more brutal than I would have been in previous declutters, but I didn’t go too crazy because I still love looking at what I have and I do still wear most of it.
