Urban Decay Naked Palette DISCONTINUED!

I’m sure we all heard the sad news yesterday that Urban Decay have sadly decided to discontinue their original Naked Palette!

I was quite shocked to hear it because it is a very popular and famous neutral palette and I remember really wanting it when it was first released, but it was a while before I actually purchased it.

Apparently it has been around for 8 years now already and they have extended the Naked range vastly since then.

I actually only own the Naked Heat and the Naked Heat Petite Palettes from the range now. I used to have the original Naked, Naked 2, Naked 3, Naked Smoky and Naked Basics 2, but I got rid of them all because I wasn’t really using them and I had so many other palettes that give you a similar if not the same look.

I am really tempted to re-purchase the original again because it is being discontinued, but I think I will leave it. I have so many other palettes to play with and Urban Decay is already on a roll with releasing new palettes this year.

So long, farewell our beloved Naked Palette!

Colourpop Limoncello Palette

I first saw the tease of this palette on Trendmood’s Instagram and it instantly attracted me. I love the packaging and colour story, it just reminds me of summer. The design on the palette would also make a lovely and classy wallpaper pattern. This palette is part of the Limoncello Collection. THE PACKAGING The packaging is made out of cardboard, which is wrapped with a white, blue and yellow flowery and lemon design. The palette name and branding is printed in gold and the shade names are printed on the back of the palette. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. KALEIDOS Futurism II: Cyber Bronze Palette

I have seen these palettes before on YouTube, a few people I follow have featured them in palette collection videos. The colour stories always looked incredible, but I knew I probably wouldn’t get much use out of them as the colours are bright and you are limited to six shades. I had only really seen the Futurism III: Astro-Pink , Futurism I: Sci-Fi Green , Futurism IV: VR Neon and Futurism V: Electro-Turquoise ones before.
