Hey Big Splendor!

I actually ordered this on Boots.com on the 18th and I picked it up from store today. Because my Boots is small I thought I would order it online in case I don’t get hold of one seeing as though they were only being sold in the larger Boots stores. But I realised at the weekend that my store had a few to sell, so I was a bit peeved, but hay ho I was guaranteed mine anyway!

So here’s what you get inside the big lovely bag!
Clean On Me 500ml - £5.11
Clean On Me is a creamy moisturising shower gel which I have had before and it smells divine. I can really smell the mandarin in it, which I really like. It also has a built in body lotion.

Calm One Calm All 500ml - £5.11
Calm One Calm All is a bubble bath with a built in body lotion, which contains lemon balm and mallow extracts and smells quite nice, kind of lemony.

Pulp Friction 250ml - £8
Pulp Friction is a foamy fruity body scrub, which contains fig powder, pumice, peppermint oil and lemonade tree liquid and smells orangey.

Hand Food 125ml - £4.85
Hand Food is a non-greasy hydrating hand cream, which contains shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow and smells a bit like marshmallow and soft hints of fruit.

Heel Genius 125ml - £5.11
Heel Genius is a foot cream, which contains macadamia oil and fruit smoothers and smells quite green/flowery and spicy/fruity.

Face Soap and Clarity 150ml - £6.13
Face Soap and Clarity is a fresh facial wash, which contains a skin brightening complex and smells slightly fruity and green.

Mist You Madly 250ml - £6.13
Mist You Madly is a fragrant body spray, which smells really fruity, clean and fresh.
Sexy Mother Pucker in Candy Gloss 7ml - £9
Sexy Mother Pucker is the type of lip gloss and it is a plumping gloss. The shade Candy Gloss is a really like/nude pink colour with a slight sparkle/glitter. The lip gloss smells like really sickly caramel/chocolate.

The Righteous Butter 300ml - £10.21
The Righteous Butter is a body butter for dry skin and smells really fresh and fruity.

Off Your Face Wipes 25 Cloths - £4.50
Off Your Face Wipes are cleansing, toning and smoothing wipes, which rids the face of the last traces of make-up and exfoliates the face. They also smell quite flowery and herby.

This gift set only cost me £25 (worth £64.15) and it was FREE shipping to my local Boots store!

Violet Voss X Laura Lee Palette

After being blown away by the Holy Grail Palette, I just couldn’t pass on this one! The shade selection doesn’t appeal to me as much, but I know the quality will be there. Also, this palette is limited edition so I wouldn’t recommend hesitating if you are interested in it. I believe this palette is a collaboration with a YouTuber called Laura Lee. I don’t know anything about Laura, but from what I gather she makes beauty videos. The palette design is similar to the Holy Grail Palette but the colour scheme is different, but it still has the holographic effect on the packaging. It has a rectangular shape to it and it is slightly bulky and has a little weight to it. It has a magnetic closing and when you lift the lid it reveals the eyeshadow pans and a mirror. The packaging colour scheme is black and silver. You get twenty 36g eyeshadows in a variety of shades and finishes. Serial Sampler #42

I have wanted to try this fragrance for a very long time and I have seen the advertisements with Charlize Theron countless times over the years. For some reason, I just didn’t look for it to test so I thought it was about time I did. I decided to purchase a sample online.   It is J’adore by Christian Dior and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   “ J’adore’s original composition is a sophisticated harmony blossoming from Comoro Islands Ylang-Ylang and Damascus Rose Essences and Jasmine Sambac Absolute. ” Launched: 1999   Type: Floral Fruity / Feminine Notes Top: Pear, Melon, Magnolia, Peach, Mandarin Orange and Bergamot. Middle: Jasmine, Lily-Of-The-Valley, Tuberose, Freesia, Rose, Orchid, Plum and Violet. Base: Musk, Vanilla, Blackberry and Cedar. My assumption before testing this fragrance is that it would smell like an old classic (old lady) floral. It is very floral, but you do get the hit of the fresh fruity notes. I can mostly detect the Magnoli...

Becca's Babble's #4: My Current Favourite Songs

Photo: TheDJ.co.uk I thought I would post about something different today, something not beauty related. I have found myself listening to more music lately, seeing as though I have more time on my hands whilst the UK is on a sort of lockdown and I cannot go to work. By listening to more music, I mean more of the songs I have downloaded. I don’t really get to hear much new music as I do not listen to the radio or watch music channels on the TV. I am also kind of old school with music. I actually download the songs onto my PC instead of using a music streaming service. I just personally find it easier; I can then copy the songs to my phone. Streaming sites tend to delete their content after a while, but if you have the songs downloaded, you can never lose them until you delete them. I do subscribe to Amazon Music for my Echo Dot though, but I do find it incredibly frustrating when Alexa doesn’t understand what I want her to play, even though I am saying it in plain English!! Anyway...
