I've Mist You Madly Girligo!

Today I am going to talk about the two body sprays/mists I have from Soap & Glory. I believe there are three in total (Mist You Madly, Girligo & Glam-A-Lot). All the products from Soap & Glory have a signature scent and I believe there are three scent lines at the moment, Mist You Madly, Original Pink & Fruitigo.

If you want to try all three body sprays/mists you could get the Soap & Glory Scent-Sationalism Gift Set for £8.50, which includes all three in 100ml.
MIST YOU MADLY
This is the most popular scent from Soap & Glory and is described as, featuring notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, magnolia, freesia, vanilla and musk. Application of this mist may bestow the wearer with a newfound and haughty kind of self-confidence, triggering uncontainable fits of flirtatiousness. Mist at your own risk.” To me it smells really fresh and girly and you get the slight musky scent too and it is not overpowering. I have it in both sizes and the bottle is a slight metallic pink colour. This scent lasts quite a long time on my skin and this is probably because it is musky, I just LOVE LOVE this scent, I am obsessed!

Other products from the Mist You Madly line are:-
- Clean, Girls Body Wash
- The Daily Smooth Body Butter *
- Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em Exfoliator
- Eau De Soap & Glory Perfume (Black Bottle) *

GIRLIGO
Some people mistake this scent in the other products for the Mist You Madly scent, but they smell completely different, they are opposites! It is described as being, Scented with a tempting blend of bergamot, peach, strawberry, jasmine, mandarin and musk. Sensible men have been driven to dizziness by this moisturising scented mist.” To me it smells really light, fresh and girly and has a really soft musk scent which is barely detectable. Girligo is part of the Original Pink scent line, which is classed as Formula 1 because it was the first ever S&P scent made, hence why so many products are part of this particular line. The bottle is a creamy white colour. Also I have noticed that the scent doesn’t last very long on my skin, which is the major downside for me!

Other products from the Original Pink line are:-
- The Righteous Butter Body Butter *
- Clean On Me Shower Gel *
- Easy Glistening Body Gloss
- Flake Away Body Polish
- Calm One, Calm All Bubble Bath *
- The Righteous Butter Body Lotion
- Hand Food Hand Cream *
- The Scrub of Your Life Body Scrub

- Hand Maid Hand Gel
- Eau De Soap & Glory Perfume (Silver Bottle) *

My favourite by far is Mist You Madly and I will definitely re-purchase. Girligo is very nice, but the scent is too light for my liking!

Violet Voss X Laura Lee Palette

After being blown away by the Holy Grail Palette, I just couldn’t pass on this one! The shade selection doesn’t appeal to me as much, but I know the quality will be there. Also, this palette is limited edition so I wouldn’t recommend hesitating if you are interested in it. I believe this palette is a collaboration with a YouTuber called Laura Lee. I don’t know anything about Laura, but from what I gather she makes beauty videos. The palette design is similar to the Holy Grail Palette but the colour scheme is different, but it still has the holographic effect on the packaging. It has a rectangular shape to it and it is slightly bulky and has a little weight to it. It has a magnetic closing and when you lift the lid it reveals the eyeshadow pans and a mirror. The packaging colour scheme is black and silver. You get twenty 36g eyeshadows in a variety of shades and finishes. Serial Sampler #42

I have wanted to try this fragrance for a very long time and I have seen the advertisements with Charlize Theron countless times over the years. For some reason, I just didn’t look for it to test so I thought it was about time I did. I decided to purchase a sample online.   It is J’adore by Christian Dior and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   “ J’adore’s original composition is a sophisticated harmony blossoming from Comoro Islands Ylang-Ylang and Damascus Rose Essences and Jasmine Sambac Absolute. ” Launched: 1999   Type: Floral Fruity / Feminine Notes Top: Pear, Melon, Magnolia, Peach, Mandarin Orange and Bergamot. Middle: Jasmine, Lily-Of-The-Valley, Tuberose, Freesia, Rose, Orchid, Plum and Violet. Base: Musk, Vanilla, Blackberry and Cedar. My assumption before testing this fragrance is that it would smell like an old classic (old lady) floral. It is very floral, but you do get the hit of the fresh fruity notes. I can mostly detect the Magnoli...

Becca's Babble's #4: My Current Favourite Songs

Photo: TheDJ.co.uk I thought I would post about something different today, something not beauty related. I have found myself listening to more music lately, seeing as though I have more time on my hands whilst the UK is on a sort of lockdown and I cannot go to work. By listening to more music, I mean more of the songs I have downloaded. I don’t really get to hear much new music as I do not listen to the radio or watch music channels on the TV. I am also kind of old school with music. I actually download the songs onto my PC instead of using a music streaming service. I just personally find it easier; I can then copy the songs to my phone. Streaming sites tend to delete their content after a while, but if you have the songs downloaded, you can never lose them until you delete them. I do subscribe to Amazon Music for my Echo Dot though, but I do find it incredibly frustrating when Alexa doesn’t understand what I want her to play, even though I am saying it in plain English!! Anyway...
