Nail Polish Haul #2

I have another nail polish haul, and it definitely won’t be my last because, I LOVE Essie nail polishes! ! ! !

From CheapSmells.com I bought an Essie Nail Polish in Watermelon for £4.95. I was going to buy it for full price soon, but when I was browsing CheapSmells I saw an advertisement for discounted Essie polishes. It said the discount was for one day only, so I knew I had to buy it then. But the price the website will be selling them at is £6.95 so I only got £2 off mine. Both prices are still great compared to the RRP of £9.95 each.
Shipping was free for a weekend on Superdrug.com so I bought a Barry M Nail Paint in Magenta Glitter for £2.99, I FINALLY got it! Lastly from there I bought a Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey for £5.99 (£2 off offer).
This morning my order from BeautyBay.com arrived and it was only one item and I really wanted it, even though I had to pay near full price. It is the Essie Nail Polish in Braziliant, I have a mini in this, but I wanted it in full size before it disappears and I can no longer buy it online. It was £8.50 and I got free shipping, because I chose the UK saver option, which is essentially second class.

I have a couple more hauls planned, but I may leave them a while, because one is another nail polish haul, plus I haven’t purchased them yet! J

BY BEAUTY BAY New Romantic Palette

I first saw the tease post of this palette on Beauty Bay’s Instagram page on 29 th January and it was a black and white photo, so you couldn’t see the colour story but some of the shades names were a little bit of a giveaway to some possible shades (Raspberry, Flamingo and Khaki etc). On the 31 st January, they posted another tease photo of the shade Queen and this really when the colour story was confirmed. The full reveal post was on 1 st February, the same day as the palette launched. I bought it on launch day; I half expected it to already be sold out, but luckily for me it wasn’t. The formula of the eyeshadows looked like in the NikkieTutorials Palette, which I hoped the shimmers would be as they are stunning. Beauty Bay also had two other palettes that are the same sort of concept; Sunset Horizons and Book of Magic (discontinued). I decided not to purchase these two as I wasn’t completely sold on the colour stories for the usage I would personally get out of them, but they did...

LOOKFANTASTIC Advent Calendar 2020 | Unboxing - Day 2

This is the second day of my LookFantastic Beauty Advent Calendar for Christmas 2020 unboxing. Yesterday I unboxed the Natasha Denona Blush Glow Duo .   Today, I unboxed the LUXIE 522 Tapered Highlighter Brush .   ABOUT This is a full sized brush in the rose gold and chic pink theme worth £19.00.   ·         Soft ·         Synthetic Bristles ·         Cruelty-Free MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS I’ve tried LUXIE brushes in the past that I have received in beauty boxes and the bristles always seem to be of good quality. The overall design of this brush is very nice and the bristles are very soft, but still firm enough for decent application. It is slightly larger than the highlighter brushes I usually use, but it still blends over the cheekbones very nicely. You can also use it to apply powder on your face, it is sized perfectly for the under eye area. I am looking to purchase som...

Serial Sampler #34

I’ve had this sample for a while now and I’ve only just decided to test it. I also have another sample of a spin-off scent from the same fragrance line, which I will post soon.   It is Candy by PRADA and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   “ Prada Candy combines exceptionally high-quality ingredients in excessive proportions. Magnified by musks, noble benzoin comes together with a modern caramel accord to give the fragrance a truly unique signature ” Launched: 2011   Type: Oriental Vanilla Notes Top: Caramel. Middle: Musk and Powder. Base: Benzoin and Vanilla. I wasn’t expecting to like this fragrance when I looked at the notes and I was right! It smells kind of woody (burnt wood) and like celery. It is most definitely a spicy oriental scent and it is not me at all. It is quite strong, but it isn’t overpowering. I would say it is a unisex scent as it isn’t sweet. With a name like Candy, I was expecting some sweetness. There is the Caramel note whi...
