Haul: Small Unmentioned Purchases

For today’s post I am going to share with you a few products that I have recently purchased and have not mentioned. I actually purchased one of the products last year but I thought I would include it anyway because I have not mentioned it before.

The product I bought last year was from Asda and it is the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Cream/Gel Eyeshadow in Pink Gold. I bought it for £4.99 and I got it because I thought it was limited edition but as it turned out it is actually permanent. It is a gorgeous colour!

Now for the products I have bought recently this year. The Urban Decay Oz: The Great and Powerful Theodora Palette for £35 from BeautyBay.com. I have used this palette a few times and I really like it. From Superdrug I picked up a Maybelline theROCKET Volum’Express Mascara in the shade Black because I was interested in trying it and I got it for £5.99 because it had a £2 off offer. From Home Bargains I picked up another can of the TRESemmé Extra Hold Salon Finish Hairspray but in the bigger 500ml size for £2.99. Last week I received my one item Superdrug.com order of a Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 090 Sweet Tart for £5.99 + free shipping, I have yet to try this out. Lastly I received my CheapSmells.com order this morning. I only got one item because I have been after it for a long time. I got the Essie Nail Polish in Tour De Finance for £3.95. I already have it in the mini size and I really love the colour and seeing as though it was on sale cheaper on the website I decided to buy it in full size because the collection it came in was limited edition.

I may have a nail polish haul coming soon, but I may put it off and leave it a bit longer. I already have too much nail polish!

Thanks for reading J

Treats - Box #1

I thought I would share with you a box from a new subscription of mine that I received last week. It is a sweets subscription box and it is much like the Graze Box subscriptions, apart from the snacks are not as healthy for you. An advertisement for the subscription service popped up on Facebook the other day and I thought, I love sweets and sometimes don’t know what I fancy because my tastes change, so I thought I would give the subscription a go. I subscribed via Treats.co.uk and there is an introductory offer for your first box, which makes it £2.49 (inc postage), after that it is £3.99 per box. You get four packets of sweets in each box and they have a varied menu (they call it ‘Treats Cupboard’). On Graze you can bin any snacks you don’t like or think you won’t like straight away so that you won’t be sent them, but there isn’t the option on Treats, so it is a gamble if you know there are sweets in their cupboard you don’t like (I don’t like buttery sweets, some chewy sweet...

Graze - Box #6

Welcome to my second Graze delivery of the year. I was quite excited when I first opened it, even though I have tried one of the treats before. A closer look at my treats. Cracking Black Pepper Cashews “Black pepper cashews, roasted cashews & redskin peanuts” I have had cashews before and they are not my favourite, but the black pepper completely changes them and they are actually quite nice and the flavour is not too overpowering. I am not keen on the roasted cashews because they don’t really taste of anything and the bit of flavour they do have is very dry. Lastly, the peanuts are kind of strange. They kind of taste soily and dry, therefore I don’t like these. My Thai “Sweet chilli sauce with baked soy bites” This was my first experience of this one and you can really smell the soy on the bites and they have a funny texture, but are really yummy. I didn’t try the chilli sauce because I didn’t like the scent and I am not big on sauces anyway. ...

Oden's Eye Alva II Highlighter Palette

I first heard of this indie brand through watching Angelika Oles’ beauty channel on YouTube. Oden’s Eye is a Swedish indie brand and they make Norse mythology themed products. This is one of two highlighter palettes I decided to purchase; I also picked up the two matching eyeshadow palettes. I have already posted about the Solmåne Eyeshadow Palette and Solmåne Highlighter Palette. ABOUT THE PRODUCT The packaging doesn’t match the eyeshadow palette, but it is still very beautiful with a light blue theme and it does have a little silver elf printed next to the palette name. The design and imagery is so unique to the brand. Alva means elf in Swedish. This palette represents the four elemental spirits; Earth, Water, Air and Fire.   You get four 7.5g highlighters in a metallic finish.   ·         Vegan ·         Cruelty-Free   THE SHADES & SWATCHES Salamander - diamond base with pink, gold & silver ...
