Haul: Small Unmentioned Purchases

For today’s post I am going to share with you a few products that I have recently purchased and have not mentioned. I actually purchased one of the products last year but I thought I would include it anyway because I have not mentioned it before.

The product I bought last year was from Asda and it is the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24^HR Cream/Gel Eyeshadow in Pink Gold. I bought it for £4.99 and I got it because I thought it was limited edition but as it turned out it is actually permanent. It is a gorgeous colour!

Now for the products I have bought recently this year. The Urban Decay Oz: The Great and Powerful Theodora Palette for £35 from BeautyBay.com. I have used this palette a few times and I really like it. From Superdrug I picked up a Maybelline theROCKET Volum’Express Mascara in the shade Black because I was interested in trying it and I got it for £5.99 because it had a £2 off offer. From Home Bargains I picked up another can of the TRESemmé Extra Hold Salon Finish Hairspray but in the bigger 500ml size for £2.99. Last week I received my one item Superdrug.com order of a Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 090 Sweet Tart for £5.99 + free shipping, I have yet to try this out. Lastly I received my CheapSmells.com order this morning. I only got one item because I have been after it for a long time. I got the Essie Nail Polish in Tour De Finance for £3.95. I already have it in the mini size and I really love the colour and seeing as though it was on sale cheaper on the website I decided to buy it in full size because the collection it came in was limited edition.

I may have a nail polish haul coming soon, but I may put it off and leave it a bit longer. I already have too much nail polish!

Beauty Bakerie Lip Whips & Remover

I had wanted to try these lipsticks for a very long time, but I was sceptical as I had heard mixed reviews. Some people love them, some people dislike them. I had also heard that they are very hard to remove, which leads me to believe that the staying power must be there. My current favourite liquid lipsticks are still the JSC Velour ones and nothing else I have tried has topped them yet, a couple of brands have come close though! ABOUT THE PRODUCTS The packaging of the lipsticks is simple, but aesthetically pleasing; I like the blue accent caps. It is made out of plastic and there is something inside the tube to make the formula looked twisted in the tube, which is a nice detail that I haven’t seen before. Jeffree Star Cosmetics X Shane Dawson Conspiracy Palette

I managed to get my hands on the new JSC x Shane Dawson palette on launch day! It took a few hours to complete the purchase online, but I didn’t give up. I have been following the journey of the creation of the whole collection on YouTube and everything is eye catching. I decided to only pick up the main palette this time; I usually buy at least one liquid lipstick from every JSC collection launch. Also available from the collection was the Mini Controversy Palette. I really love the shades Controversy and My Apology from the palette, but I knew I wouldn’t get much use out of the other shades, which is why I decided against purchasing it. There are also six velour liquid lipsticks (none of the shades appealed to me), pig mirrors, make-up bags/cases, clear version of the gloss and a lip balm. BECCA X Barbie Ferreira Prismatica Light Essentials Kit

I bought this set because the highlighters are mini and the packaging is purple. I have previously tried Champagne Pop (limited edition bronze glitter packaging) and I decluttered it last year. I remember not really getting the hype around it. I wanted to try the formula again in different shades and what is more perfect than minis for trying something out? The whole BECCA Prismatica Collection is in collaboration with Barbie Ferreira, who I believe is an American Actress/Model. I had never heard of her before and only looked her up for the purpose of this post. There was a Face Palette, Essentials Kit and Cheek Lip Duo Set. I believe the collection has now sold out, but the highlighters are still available as singles in the regular BECCA packaging. ABOUT THE PRODUCT The packaging is sleek, round and compact.
