OMG! & WTH?

I have just opened up my e.l.f Studio Cream Eyeliners to find that all three are as hard as rocks and all of them have shrunk. Coffee is now the size of a marble! The evidence is below.
I know cream/gel products don’t last for ever, but I have had other cream eyeliners a lot longer that are still useable.

The cream eyeliner is brilliant when you first use it, but it doesn’t take long to turn crappy. I am very disappointed and will never buy another one from e.l.f!

This isn’t a personal attack on e.l.f because I have tons of products from them that I love, but this is not good and I have heard others have had the same problem. Just be warned that if you do not use them, you lose them!

Has this happened to you?

Glamour Magazine - July 2013

Yesterday I picked up the new edition of Glamour Magazine, well three copies of them actually! It is the July 2013 edition and you get a choice of five free MODEL CO products and four different magazine covers ( Rebel Wilson , Zooey Deschanel , Myleene Klass & Daniel Radcliffe ). I have never heard of the MODEL CO brand before, but judging by their website, they are marketed as high end. I’m not sure what size the items in the magazines are, but I have listed the full sizes and prices below. FIBRE LASHXTEND Mascara - £28 SHINE Ultra Lip Gloss in Strip Tease - £12 SHINE Ultra Lip Gloss in Showgirl Red - £12 COLOURBOX Eye Pencil in Black 01 - £14 LIP ENHANCER Illusion Lip Liner - £16 I decided to pick up two copies because this month’s edition is £1 instead of £2. I got the FIBRE LASHXTEND Mascara and COLOURBOX Eye Pencil in Black 01 .  When I got home and I opened them, I soon realised the eyeliner box was empty! L All the plastic packaging was inta...

Make-Up Storage ENVY!

Today I am going to talk about at topic I love and hate. I really love seeing how people organise their make-up, but I hate I can’t do what I want with mine! Last year I bought the ‘dresser of my dreams’ as it was at the time and now I kind of regret it. I bought it because I wanted more storage space, but I mostly wanted to store make-up in it. It cost me about £80 from Argos and it is a really nice dresser, but now I wish I had something smaller because I downsized my make-up collection! Don’t get me wrong, all four drawers have other stuff in them as well as make-up but it just doesn’t satisfy me. My problem is not really with the dresser although I would love one of the storage units I am going to mention, it is actually the fact that I can’t find baskets to fit nicely in the drawers I am using for make-up. At the moment the boxes are too big or too small, funny shaped, miss matched and not what I want. I would be perfectly happy with the dresser until I get my own place...

Review: Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil

This was the second eyebrow pencil I had ever tried because I wanted something that was inexpensive and maybe had an applicator with it. The product just looks like an eyeliner pencil, but on the side of the cap there is a grooming brush. The cap colour reflects the actual product colour. To apply it, you take off the cap and put it on the end of the pencil. You then just fill in your eyebrows like you would normally, just add more pressure to the pencil if you want a darker look. You can then turn the pencil upside down and use the brush. The formula is really soft and you can tell it has some wax built in to it. You get 1.4g of product and the shade I have is 002 Hazel , which is a light honey brown shade. This brow pencil is supposed to be brilliant for filling the gaps in your brows and great for lengthening your arc for a natural look. The colour should be long wearing and smudge-proof and the brush applicator should make it easy for you to groom and shape. I ...
