Haul: Before/After Christmas Sales

Today I am going to share with you what I bought during the Winter sales.

Firstly I went to Boots to collect my online order I made on Christmas Eve during the sales. I picked up the Lady GaGa Fame 50ml Gift Set, which includes the eau de parfum, shower gel and body lotion and the Soap & Glory Crazy Sexy Kohl Gift Set, which includes five eyeliners and three eyeshadows. I also received a free sample of Valentino’s ‘Valentina’ perfume with my order, which was excitingly unexpected. After I collected my order I noticed that the electric toothbrush I was after was half price in Boots, so I decided to get that too and I got an extra 10% discount off it. I got the Oral B Professional Care 3000 Electric Toothbrush, which includes three brush heads (Precision Clean, Floss Action & 3D White), a charger and station with brush head storage. Lastly I went to Argos to purchase some hair straighteners that I had reserved that morning because mine needed replacing. I bought the Nicky Clarke Allure Hair Straightener, which comes with an accessory bag to store it in. I chose these ones because they were Nicky Clarke’s and they were less than half price because of the sale!

I can’t wait to start using everything and I will be reviewing some of them very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size. The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved. I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear. TAG - The Good, The Bad, The British
