Boots.com Haul #4

Today I thought I would share with you my recent Boots online order. I collected it from store yesterday, but I actually ordered it last Friday.

I got another bottle of my favourite morning face cleanser, Soap & Glory Drama Clean™. I have used up so many bottles of this and it is a very nice micellar cleansing water. I also got a new bottle of body wash and I have been loving the Dove body washes for the past two months so I decided to pick up a new scent, Dove Purely Pampering Peony & Sweet Cream Body Wash. I have been struggling with the pores on my nose recently so I decided to pick up a box of the Bioré Ultra Deep Cleaning Pore Strips, to see if they really work (fingers crossed!). Lastly, I decided to get two bottles of my everyday foundation, Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 010 Light Porcelain. I just like to make sure that I have a backup.

Please leave any suggestions for new products for me to try in the comments section. I feel a MAC order coming on, but I don’t know what to get. My little shopping devil is just itching to be let loose with my bank card!

Serial Sampler #35

I have another perfume sampler today. I can’t remember how I got the sample or how long I’ve had it, but I thought it was about time to give it a whiff!   It is BonBon by Viktor & Rolf and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. Launched: 2014   Type: Floral & Fruity Notes Top: Peach, Mandarin Orange and Orange. Middle: Caramel, Orange Blossom and Jasmine. Base: Amber, Sandalwood, Guaiac Wood and Cedar. This is a delicate scent and I definitely get the floral and fruity notes. I can mostly smell the orange blossom, jasmine and amber, with a slight hint of caramel. It smells quite strong when you first spray it and then it tones down a bit. It is a nice scent, but it isn’t unique. I was expecting it to smell a little bit sweeter. I would wear it, but I won’t be purchasing a bottle any time soon.   You can purchase the Viktor & Rolf BonBon Eau De Parfum in 30ml (£56.00), 50ml (£78.00) and 90ml (£110.00) from Boots.com . ...

Violet Voss X Laura Lee Palette

After being blown away by the Holy Grail Palette, I just couldn’t pass on this one! The shade selection doesn’t appeal to me as much, but I know the quality will be there. Also, this palette is limited edition so I wouldn’t recommend hesitating if you are interested in it. I believe this palette is a collaboration with a YouTuber called Laura Lee. I don’t know anything about Laura, but from what I gather she makes beauty videos. The palette design is similar to the Holy Grail Palette but the colour scheme is different, but it still has the holographic effect on the packaging. It has a rectangular shape to it and it is slightly bulky and has a little weight to it. It has a magnetic closing and when you lift the lid it reveals the eyeshadow pans and a mirror. The packaging colour scheme is black and silver. You get twenty 36g eyeshadows in a variety of shades and finishes. LOOKFANTASTIC Advent Calendar 2020 | Unboxing - Day 2

This is the second day of my LookFantastic Beauty Advent Calendar for Christmas 2020 unboxing. Yesterday I unboxed the Natasha Denona Blush Glow Duo .   Today, I unboxed the LUXIE 522 Tapered Highlighter Brush .   ABOUT This is a full sized brush in the rose gold and chic pink theme worth £19.00.   ·         Soft ·         Synthetic Bristles ·         Cruelty-Free MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS I’ve tried LUXIE brushes in the past that I have received in beauty boxes and the bristles always seem to be of good quality. The overall design of this brush is very nice and the bristles are very soft, but still firm enough for decent application. It is slightly larger than the highlighter brushes I usually use, but it still blends over the cheekbones very nicely. You can also use it to apply powder on your face, it is sized perfectly for the under eye area. I am looking to purchase som...
