L'ORÉAL Volume Million Lashes So Couture Mascara

I bought this mascara and while ago with the intentions of reviewing it, but I only wear mascara when I wear eyeshadow, which is not very often these days. It has taken me a while to get around to trying out this mascara.

The packaging is made of purple and gold plastic and it has a sort of tapered oval shape. The brush is small and made of rubber. It has longer bristles towards the bottom and shorter bristles at the top. The formula is creamy and kind of thick, but it does feel lightweight on your lashes. You get 9.5ml of product in the tube and the shade is Noir/Black. You can buy it for £10.99 from places such as Boots (UK), Superdrug (UK) and Ulta (USA).
It is supposed to give your lashes definition and volume without making them clumpy or feeling stiff. The couture brush should coat every lash without clumps and it has small soft bristles, which should reach each lash and evenly spread the mascara.

There’s nothing special about the packaging it is just a nice mascara tube. It does give your lashes definition and volume, but I wouldn’t say they look like false lashes. It is clump free and your lashes don’t feel stiff, but you can feel it on your lashes. It isn’t a waterproof formula, so it can smudge if your eyes water excessively, especially on the lower lashes. The brush is very easy to use and it is my favourite type of brush. The bristles are small enough to reach the inner most lashes and coat the lower ones and big enough to give your top lashes a good coating. Overall I really enjoyed using this mascara and I would purchase it again. There are more versions of this Volume Million Lashes Mascara, such as, Fatale, Feline and Excess.

Review: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

When this product was first advertised, I knew I would be interested. I wanted something lighter than foundation for daily wear and after trying a couple of samples of this I decided to purchase it in full size. The packaging is a slightly rounded plastic tube. It has a simple design and looks quite plain. It also has a small wide nozzle, which dispenses the product. When you twist the cap off, some of the product does seep out a little. The formula is kind of light and wet. You get 30ml of product in the tube and I have shade Light. This BB cream is supposed to contain eight benefits in the one tube. It should blur imperfections, feel fresh, give your skin a natural glow, compliment your skin tone, look smooth,  hydrate, protect with SPF 30 and be oil free and non-greasy. This is the only BB cream I’ve tried, but I really like it. It blends well and spreads evenly and can last up to eight hours and then some. It gives your complexion a natural glow and makes your fa...

BY BEAUTY BAY New Romantic Palette

I first saw the tease post of this palette on Beauty Bay’s Instagram page on 29 th January and it was a black and white photo, so you couldn’t see the colour story but some of the shades names were a little bit of a giveaway to some possible shades (Raspberry, Flamingo and Khaki etc). On the 31 st January, they posted another tease photo of the shade Queen and this really when the colour story was confirmed. The full reveal post was on 1 st February, the same day as the palette launched. I bought it on launch day; I half expected it to already be sold out, but luckily for me it wasn’t. The formula of the eyeshadows looked like in the NikkieTutorials Palette, which I hoped the shimmers would be as they are stunning. Beauty Bay also had two other palettes that are the same sort of concept; Sunset Horizons and Book of Magic (discontinued). I decided not to purchase these two as I wasn’t completely sold on the colour stories for the usage I would personally get out of them, but they did...
