Sunday Afternoon Haul

So sorry, but, I have yet another haul! I seem to like buying a lot lately. Oh well, here is what I bought.

From Superdrug I bought two Barry M Nail Paints in 322 Purple Rain and 150 Red Glitter. I also wanted to buy NYC Lincoln Square Lavender, but they still have not re-stocked the NYC display, I’ve been waiting about a month now! L. Purple Rain is a crackle effects nail paint and it is a dark sparkly and glittery purple colour, the glitter is a dark pink colour. I cannot wait to try this over Barry M’s 308 Berry Ice Cream nail paint. Purple Rain was £3.99. Red Glitter is just a red glittery colour, very pretty and Christmassy and cost £2.99. I received 56 Superdrug Beauty Card Points.

From Wilkinson’s (Wilkos) I bought two Wilko Dreamy body sprays, these are my favourite non impulse sprays; they remind me of the sort of one’s Impulse come out with. It was two for 99p so I got two. The regular price for them is 58p each. I also bought a Bath Time Body Puff, which is just a black shower sponge to wash with! It cost 45p.

I actually bought other things, but they were not really beauty related! Sorry about the very very boring blog post!

Serial Sampler #17

I chose this sample as my free gift with purchase and I hadn’t heard of the brand before. It happens to be part of a series of four fragrances and they are all unisex/genderless. The designs of the full sized bottles are very interesting and artsy. Looking at the four, had I been able to pick which one to receive, I most likely would have chosen the one called 10am Flirt as it seems the fruitiest based of the four. The sample I have is Santal Sky by KIERIN NYC and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “Intertwined like vines, we stroll through Central Park. Leaves release their woody fragrance. Perfume Power! - Harajuku Lovers 'G'

I received this perfume as an Easter gift from a family member. The bottle design is really cute. It has a doll figure cap, which lifts off and the actual bottle is clear and simple glass, it kind of has a flower shaped base. The size I have is very small, so it is handy for your handbag. And I suppose you could keep the doll for collector’s purposes, when you have used up the perfume. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Crisp Mandarin, Fresh Coconut & Apple Skin Middle Notes: Jasmine Sambac, Soft Freesia & Magnolia Vapour Base Notes: Coconut Cream, White Sandalwood & Cottonwoods To me it smells really strong for an eau de toilette. I quite like the scent because it is very feminine and quite sweet. The only thing I don’t like about it is the coconut. I don’t really like the coconut scent anyway.
