CheapSmells Haul #1

This is going to be a very, very, very small haul! I really wanted to the try the mascara, but it wasn’t available in any of my stores, so I had to purchase it online and I happen to have come across the gift set. I already have the perfume, but it is half way done and it is one of my favourites.

I bought a Katie Price Stunning Perfume Gift Set for £18.20, which includes the 100ml Eau de Parfum, 150ml Shower Gel and 150ml Body Lotion. I also bought a Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara in Very Black for £4.99.

Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size. The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved. I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear.
