Perfume Power! - Avril Lavigne 'Black Star'

This is my third bottle of this perfume and in the 30ml too.

The bottle is designed as a star, which has a black star shaped studded cap. Around the neck of the bottle is a studded metal choker ring, which is removable and wearable for your finger.

The fragrance notes are:-

Top Notes: Blackcurrant, Mango, Pear & Black Plum
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Lotus & Pink Hibiscus
Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla & Dark Mexican Chocolate

To me it smells really light, fruity, floral and incredibly feminine. The floral notes stand out to me the most, as well as the musk. All of the notes complement each other very well and it is one of my all-time favourite perfumes. My only criticism is  after a while I cannot smell it on me, but people have said they can still smell it, so it must last longer than your nose leads you to believe! I just personally like to be able to still smell the perfume on me, because it is GORGEOUS! I will definitely keep on re-purchasing this perfume, until it has been discontinued. I am going to try and find it in a bigger size though.

I have combined two month’s worth of empties again. At the end of August my box wasn’t that full, so I decided to carry on collecting and hope I use up more stuff. Oden's Eye Solmåne Eyeshadow Palette

I first heard of this indie brand through watching Angelika Oles’ beauty channel on YouTube. Oden’s Eye is a Swedish indie brand and they make Norse mythology themed products. This is one of two eyeshadow palettes I decided to purchase; I also picked up the two matching highlighter palettes.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is small and rectangular in shape. It is made out of cardboard and it has a sort of textured covering (like on pogs). The design and imagery is so unique to the brand. Solmåne means the sun and moon in Swedish. Sol represents the Sun Goddess and Måne represents the Moon God. Both Gods are represented on the packaging. There is a colour split of warm and cool toned shades (lavender, pink, orange & yellow) along with moon, star and Norse symbols. The wheel around the Gods is metallic gold, so it really reflects the light when you move the palette around. The eyeshadow shade names are printed on the back of the palette. Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette

I first saw a preview of this palette in early August on the Trendmood Instagram page. I just knew I had to have it. I also own and love the Gingerbread Spice and Gingerbread Extra Spicy Palettes by Too Faced. These are the only types of holiday palettes that actually interest me from Too Faced. All of their other holiday palettes tend to be gimmicky (but pretty looking) and not good quality. THE PACKAGING The packaging is a rounded rectangular shaped tin in a beautiful pumpkin orange colour. The design on the front kind of looks like spread on a cracker. The name of the palette is printed in two different raised fonts. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The little rectangular eyeshadow pans are arranged across a metallic gold base, with the shade names printed in a small black font above each pan.
