Perfume Power! - Sarah Jessica Parker 'Covet'

I bought this perfume back in March. I tested it a couple of years ago and I thought I liked it, but since buying it my opinion has slightly changed.

The bottle design is a flower. The cap looks like petals and the base of the bottle is rounded, so to me it looks like a flower. It is clear glass and the liquid is a green/yellow colour. I really like the bottle design; it is very feminine and will look cute sat on a dressing table.

The fragrance notes are:-

Top Notes: Lavender, Pelargonium Leaf, Dark Chocolate & Sicilian Lemon
Middle Notes: Honeysuckle, Magnolia & Lily Of The Valley
Base Notes: Amber, Musk, Cashmere Wood, Vetiver & Teak Wood

To me it smells very floral and mature. I can smell the musk, lily of the valley and sicilian lemon, but I can’t pick out any other of the notes. If chocolate wasn’t listed, I would never have known it was in there! It does last a while on the skin, for me it lasted an hour and then lingered slightly for a bit after. I suppose that is bad, but I haven’t yet found a fragrance that will last all day! It is not a young scent, because it is more floral and not fruity or sweet, but it still appeals to me and I’m nineteen. Having said that, it is not really my kind of scent, it is really lovely, but I know whether something is my scent after one sniff!

Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size. The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved. I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear. It is actually an eau de toilette, which means that it is less concentrated, but I find that it is st...

TAG - The Good, The Bad, The British

Photo: EnchantedIvyGifts.co.uk I was browsing my subscription videos on YouTube and I saw that EssieButton uploaded a new TAG video called The British Tag, and after watching it I decided I wanted to do the TAG too. I believe this TAG was created by BeautyCrush , so all credit is awarded to her. 1. How many cups of tea do you have a day & how do you take it? I drink around three cups of tea a day and I take mine with one small sugar and a bit of semi-skimmed milk. Tea is also the only hot drink I like. 2. What is your favourite part of a Sunday roast? My favourite part of a roast is the vegetables. I love kale & leak and broccoli! My Mum’s gravy is also to die for. 3. What is your favourite dunking biscuit? I don’t dunk biscuits anymore, but when I was younger I loved dunking Bourbons. If I was to dunk a biscuit now, I would probably choose either a Rich Tea or plain Digestive. 4. What is your quintessential British pastime? I love visiting ruins/m...
