e.l.f Luscious Liquid Lipsticks

I have had these for a while now and have only just got around to reviewing them. I decided to buy them to try them out and I can’t remember why I bought so many. I must have had a mad moment and it’s a good job they are not expensive!
The packaging for these is very simple and you have to twist the tube for the product to dispense out of the flat brush applicator. The tube is also quite thin and not very big, which means it is very travel friendly. You get 1.5g of liquid lipstick in each tube and the formula is slightly sticky like a lipgloss, but it is also smooth like a lipstick. They also smell and taste of mint.
There are eleven shades in total and I purchased six of them. I have Baby Lips, which is a really light champagne pink that is almost clear and has small glitters in it. Pink Lemonade, which is a rosy pink with sparkle. Strawberry, which is a bright juicy red. Cherry Tart, which is a bright cherry red. Ruby Slipper, which is a bright cherry pink with sparkles and Brownie Points, which is a really light nude brown that is almost clear with a little sparkle.

On the e.l.f website the product description is, “Lip therapy is here. Intensive hydrating agents along with natural pigments leave lips with Long-lasting colour and moisture. This luscious liquid lipstick creates wearable colour that flatters a multitude of skin tones and looks.”

I do like the packaging because it is simple and it helps keep the cost down and you can clearly see the colour, I just wish the cap was opaque so that you can’t see how filthy the applicator gets. The formula is also not very sticky, but sticky enough so that the product will last and stay on your lips up to two hours without eating and drinking. If you do however decide to consume food and drink, the product starts wearing away instantly and it won’t take long for every last trace of the product to disappear. I wouldn’t say that this product is very hydrating or moisturising, but because the texture is wet it will offer some sort of moisture to your lips. I am not very keen of the scent or taste because after you have had they for a while, they start to smell like mouldy mint! I just apply the tiniest amount on my lips and blend it in so that there is just a tint of colour because I do not like my lips being sticky, which is the reason why I don’t like and never wear lipgloss!

The shades are very wearable and there is a colour for everyone but, Baby Lips and Brownie Points look very shear on my lips and the shades Cherry Tart and Ruby Slipper look like they are exactly the same colour on my lips. Out of the six I have Strawberry and Pink Lemonade are the best. You can tell what colour they are when they are on your lips and they are more pigmented that the others too.

Overall I think these are just basic lipglosses which are not as sticky, but nothing really special and let’s face it, they are glorified lipglosses, but for £1.50 you get what you pay for. I probably wouldn’t purchase another one because I barely use the ones I have, plus I am more into my balm stains and regular lipsticks.

Natural Collection by Boots - Body Sprays

I bought these online a while ago, mainly because I was obsessed with finding an apple scented body spray and I found one from Natural Collection and then I saw two other scents I wanted to test. I got all three because they were not sold in my store and I knew they would smell nice and they can also be used as room and linen sprays. There are a total of six scents on the site at the moment. Wild Strawberry, which my sister had and we both didn’t like it because it was really strong and sickly sweet. I also tested the Ice Musk and I didn’t like it and I haven’t tried the Vanilla, but I’m not keen on vanilla scents anyway and I know I wouldn’t like it. The last one is Samphire and Sea Minerals, which I haven’t tried before, but it sounds nice and on reviews people have said it is really clean and fresh smelling, so I might have to go and have a sniff sometime. I think there are more scents, my Boots store only sell three or four and they are the scents I don’t like (Ice Musk and ...

Perfume Power! - Taylor Swift 'Wonderstruck'

Photo: HerWorldPlus.com I actually received this as a free sample size (1.2ml), but I decided to do a review anyway, because you get enough of the scent to be able to give it a proper review, like you would a bottle size. * Click here to see what the sample looks like * The bottle design looks very pretty and definitely something I would love to have. The charms around the neck also look lovely, but MissBudgetBeauty bought it in 30ml and it didn’t have the charms, so the charms must be exclusive to the bigger sizes, which is a shame seeing as though I tend to buy 30ml, unless I really love the scent. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Freesia, Green Tea, Blackberry, Raspberry & Apple Blossom Middle Notes: Vanilla, Honeysuckle & Hibiscus Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Amber & Peach It does smell really nice and not as young as you would expect, it reminds me of a fruitier Loverdose by Diesel, without the liquorice. I can smell the peach, raspberry...
