Haul: Happy Birthday to Me!

As you can probably tell from the title, it is my birthday today! I thought I would share what I got with you. I did receive money too, but you don’t need to see that.

My parents got me a Mikey London Rose Gold Chain Bracelet, which is extendable because I have quite big wrists. They also got me a Kipling Bag. I’m not too sure what it is called, but it is black with coloured birds all over it. It also has a pink monkey called Alyssa.

My sister got me a Floral Thoughts ‘Apple’ Candle and H.Samuel Long Stud Earrings, which have a light lilac stone design. She also visited a LUSH shop for the first time the other week and asked me if I wanted anything. I told her of a couple of things I was interesting in trying, but she came back empty handed, or so I thought! When I opened my gifts I found she had bought me LUSH Grease Lightning and a LUSH Soap Stack in Rock Star & Godmother. She actually didn’t realise that she had bought a soap stack; she assumed it was just a bar of Rock Star. I can’t wait to use these products because the soaps smell amazing and I’ve heard great things about the spot treatment.

I also treated myself to a little gift. I did the same last year as it was my 21^st, but I think it’s going to be a tradition now. Last year I received a discount gift from FeelUnqiue.com and used it to purchase the Dior Addict IT-LASH Mascara. This year I used their gift to buy myself the Lancôme Hypnȏse STAR Mascara in 01 Midnight Noir, and I just can’t wait to try it! I will definitely be doing a review on this mascara very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

Boots.com Haul #2 + Blog Sale Purchase

I thought I would share a haul with you today. I haven’t done one for a while but I recently ordered a few items from Boots and I wanted to let you know about it. I bought the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette , which includes two sample sachets of the deep cleansing gel. I have been waiting for something like this and I cannot wait to try it. I simply refuse to buy the Sigma version, plus I don’t think it needs to be that big. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters

These were first launched in the USA and I remember waiting for a while for them to arrive in the UK. When they finally arrived I knew I had to try them out. I waited until they were on offer at £5.99 and I wanted to pick shades I knew I would wear and because they are not lipsticks I thought I would be safe to pick up a brighter colour I wouldn’t usually choose. The packaging is made of plastic and has a sort of quilted design on two sides of four and the colour of the packaging corresponds to the shade it is housing. The base is black plastic, which has the shade sticker. The cylindrical tube the product is dispensed from is made of reflective silver plastic. To dispense the product, you pull the packaging off and twist the base. The butter is slanted in shape and has a flat base. It is a gel formula with mango, shea and cocoa butter. Glossybox #7 - February 2014

I saw an advertisement for this particular box and I instantly fell in love with the design, so I had to re-subscribe straight away to get it. The box design looks just as lovely in person and I will keep it and re-use it for storage. Here is what I got in this box:- Ciaté Paint Pot in Play Date This product is full size and it is a gorgeous bold pop pink shade with a touch of coral in a crème finish. Mine didn’t come with the cute bow decoration, but it is still a distinctive and cute design, unlike any other polish I own.
