Serial Sampler #29

I received this mini in a recent LookFantastic Beauty Box and I thought I would give it a test and let you know what I think about it. It is the Black Magic Mascara in Black by Eyeko and it is a 4ml mini of the full sized mascara. This mascara is supposed to give your lashes drama and curl with an intense carbon black finish. The helix shaped brush should lift your lashes for a curl and definition. I have heard good things about this mascara over the years and I just didn’t get around to buying and trying it. I’m happy to say that it does live up to the hype! It is very easy to apply wish the skinny wand and the brush is slightly curved to fit against your lashes. It is separating and it does make your lashes look more defined and not clumpy. Due to the separation and definition, it also gives you a lengthening effect. The volume is great and it is buildable to a point. The colour is very dark black which makes your lashes stand out. You also get the same effects on ...

KALEIDOS Space Age Highlighters

A few posts ago I mentioned that I purchased a Kaleidos Space Age Highlighter from Depop and I said I really wanted the whole collection (8 highlighters) and was considering purchasing the whole bundle. The bundle was and is still out of stock, so I caved in and went for the second best option. I ended up purchasing The Six Highlighter Bundle, where you choose six of the shades and you get their Precision Highlighter Brush, all for $76.00 (£60.70). With this option I would only be missing out on one shade. My order was shipped from China and took 10 days to get to me. The shipping was FREE as I spent over $70.00 and I wasn’t charged any customs fees. Inside the main package is the bright bundle box, it looks like a present/gift. When you open this up, the highlighters and brush are inside the metallic padded envelope. I already own the shade Ray Rider (N03) (champagne sheen with a peach hint). FeelUnique.com Haul #2

I was browsing the beauty tag on Instagram and came across a post about the e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette. The majority of the comments on the post were very complimentary towards the palette. I decided to purchase it and see for myself. I also haven’t tried any e.l.f products for the longest time. I decided to purchase it off FeelUnique.com, so I could pick up some other items I wanted. It is easier to get it all from one place and I also used some gift vouchers I had towards the cost of my haul. When my order arrived, the e.l.f palette was damaged and the delivery box looked like it had been through a lot (ripped, bent and beat up). Some of the eyeshadows were just smashed to smithereens! It was completely unusable and messy. FeelUnique sent me a replacement, which arrived better packaged and in perfect condition. Obviously, the first item I put in my bag was the e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette Earth & Ocean Palette (£14.00). I then decided to pick-up back-ups of ...

Graze - Box #20

I received this box on Tuesday 11 th August. I was hoping for the last cookie packet as I really want to try the lemon cookies. Once I have tried them, I am thinking of cancelling my subscription! Here is what I received in this box:- Pepped Up Nutty Protein Power - Black pepper cashews and almonds, roasted cashews & redskin peanuts (221kcal) | Contains: Tree Nuts & Peanuts | The black pepper cashews have a really nice peppery flavour, which isn’t too strong. The roasted cashews are nice, there’s not really a roasted flavour though. The almonds are lovely. They taste a little sweet but you do get the black pepper flavour. The black pepper was stronger tasting on the cashews. I think I still prefer the smoked almonds though. The redskin peanuts are kind soft and dry. They kind of taste of leaves, they are not very pleasant at all. | Link - https://www.graze.com/1775/pepped-up-nutty-protein-power | Salt & Pepper Veggie Protein Power - Sea salt ...

Serial Sampler #28

I’ve had this sample for a while and I have only just got around to giving it a whiff! It is Be Tempted by DKNY and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. It contains a mixture of notes such as; Cassia, Lemon, Red Berries, Licorice, Apple, Rose, Violet, Orange Blossom, Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Vanilla and Myrrh. This perfume does smell great! It smells fresh, sparkling, and fruity and it isn’t overpowering. You can really smell the berry and patchouli notes and it comes across as a sort of summer scent. I would actually buy a bottle of this. You can buy it in 30ml (£26.40), 50ml (£55) and 100ml (£74) and it is available at places such as; Boots, AllBeauty.com and Sephora. | I purchased this sample from eBay.co.uk |
