Haul: Higher End to Drugstore

SURPRISE, I have a haul for you today! I have bought a few things lately and they were all on my wishlist. I will be making another shopping trip very soon, because I will need to re-purchase some essentials.

Last week I was a bit naughty with discount codes and decided to purchase three higher end make-up products. One is a re-purchase and the other two are new to me. I got the Benefit High Beam Highlighter, Benefit Face Powder in CORALista and Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked.

On Monday I decided to pop into Boots and use up some vouchers and a gift card I had. I knew I wanted two lipsticks and because of the 3 for 2 offer, I got the third item free. I got the SEVENTEEN Mirror Shine Lipsticks in Beehive and Belle and the Barry M Silk Nail Paint in Truffle.

I am going to enjoy trying these products out and then I will share my thoughts on them with you.

Perfume Power! - Soap & Glory™ 'Eau De Soap & Glory'

I bought this because I already had the first Soap & Glory perfume and I really loved the Mist You Madly line scent. The bottle is cuboid shaped and made of opaque black glass. It has a regular perfume spritzer and the cap is clear plastic and T shaped with a pink woollen sash wrapped around the base. On the front of the bottle there is a pink foiled sticker with the Soap & Glory logo. The fragrance notes are:- Bergamot, Cassis, Magnolia, Freesia, Vanilla & Musk This perfume is a strong florally and musky scent. It is quite sweet, but not overpowering. The bottle is also a classic design, so you can re-use as decoration if you peel the sticker off the front. It is the Formula 2 scent, which is what some of Soap & Glory products smell like (The Daily Smooth, Clean Girls, Mist You Madly etc.). I can really smell the bergamot, freesia and musk. Perfume Power! - Taylor Swift 'Wonderstruck'

Photo: HerWorldPlus.com I actually received this as a free sample size (1.2ml), but I decided to do a review anyway, because you get enough of the scent to be able to give it a proper review, like you would a bottle size. * Click here to see what the sample looks like * The bottle design looks very pretty and definitely something I would love to have. The charms around the neck also look lovely, but MissBudgetBeauty bought it in 30ml and it didn’t have the charms, so the charms must be exclusive to the bigger sizes, which is a shame seeing as though I tend to buy 30ml, unless I really love the scent. Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift

I received this sample in the post yesterday after requesting one online (no longer available). I heard about this perfume earlier in the year from FleurDeForce , after she bought a bottle of it whilst she was in the USA. It has only just been released in the UK, and what appealed to me was the bottle and the fact that I thought it might be a young scent as it’s by Taylor Swift.
