Serial Sampler #1

Today I thought I would share with you a couple of perfume samples I bought from eBay recently. I had heard of them before and I was just curious because the bottles look quite nice and they remind me of Alice in Wonderland.

They are both by Vivienne Westwood and are called Cheeky Alice and Naughty Alice.
The Cheeky Alice sample I have is a 1.2ml eau de toilette. The sample packaging is a sort of salmon peach colour with gold detailing.

It smells quite classic and it is suitable for all ages and tastes. It is slightly mature smelling, but it is still nice. The floral notes stand out the most.
The Naughty Alice sample I have is a 1.2ml eau de parfum. The sample packaging is a mint aqua blue sort of colour with gold detailing.

“A violet dash of provocation wrapped in a velvety rose veil of cheeky sophistication”

It smells quite woodsy and leafy. I would say it is more targeted towards a mature taste. It smells slightly crispy and herbally too.

Overall I prefer Cheeky Alice because it is more delicate and closer to my tastes. Naughty Alice is not what I expected at all. It is quite the assault on the senses! It just smells quite earthy and strange. Although I like Cheeky Alice, I am not sure if I would buy a full size bottle of it. I will definitely steer clear of Naughty Alice.

Birchbox #4 - May 2015

This month’s theme is ‘Free Your Mind’. The box comes looking quite plain, but with a patterned outline. You also got a small packet of coloured pencils, which you were supposed to use to decorate the box. Here is what products were inside my box:- Jelly Pong Pong Caribbean Sun Bronzer Duo in Martinique | 3g - £15.95 | This is kind of an odd product. It actually looks like eyeshadow. I’m also guessing you would have a hard time applying it as the pans are quite small, and it doesn’t look like a make-up brush would fit in there. CAUDALIE Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturiser in 01) Light | 15ml - £27.00 | I am quite interested in trying this and it looks like a decent sample. I’ve tried a serum from this line before and loved that, so I am hoping this is good. Even if I do like it, I’m not sure I would pay out for a full size tube! Graze - Box #16

I thought I would share my Graze box with you today. I recently re-subscribed and my first one arrived Tuesday 14 th July. It has been almost six years since I last mentioned Graze on my blog, but I did keep my subscription for a long time after. I stopped posting about them as I am kind of picky with snacks, so I would make sure that I only received the few that I liked which means I was receiving the same ones over and over again, which would be boring and daft to blog about.
