I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today.

It is False Lashes Extreme Black by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara.

It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof.

This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. It was easy to apply and after a couple of coats you are good to go. The effects do last all day, it is smudge-proof but not flake proof and I do like the small thin and precise brush. I did enjoy using this mascara and I would be interested in purchasing a full sized tube.

Colourpop Limoncello Palette

I first saw the tease of this palette on Trendmood’s Instagram and it instantly attracted me. I love the packaging and colour story, it just reminds me of summer. When I first heard of these I knew they would be perfect for me. I played it safe with the first shade I bought and knew I would eventually and gradually work my way through the colours to try to be more comfortable with brighter colours with a more understated and low maintenance finish. The packaging is a chubby crayon with a plastic barrel and each barrel is a different colour, which corresponds to the product shade. It has a silver band around the base of the barrel, which you have to turn to dispense the crayon and the plastic cap of the crayon matches the colour of each barrel. When you twist the band to dispense the product, you can see 3.3cm of the actual crayon, but there could be more hiding in the tube and you would just have to use up what you can see to find out for sure. Jeffree Star Cosmetics: Summer Chrome Collection 2017

I have decided to do a sort of swatch post today, but I have included a little more information than I usually would for a simple swatch post. Jeffree Star Cosmetics recently came out with a new Summer Chrome Collection of products and I decided I wanted to purchase something, but wasn’t quite sure what at first. The whole collection includes; 8 Velour Liquid Lipsticks, 3 Velour Lip Scrubs, 5 Lip Ammunitions™, 2 Skin Frosts™ and various lip gift sets. I decided to pick up two items from the collection, both are lip products. I got a Velour Liquid Lipstick in Calabasas , which was £16.00 for 5.4ml. I also got a Lip Ammunition™ in Birthday Suit , which was £16.00 for 3.4g.
