Serial Sampler #16

I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today.

It is False Lashes Extreme Black by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara.

It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof.
This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. It was easy to apply and after a couple of coats you are good to go. The effects do last all day, it is smudge-proof but not flake proof and I do like the small thin and precise brush. I did enjoy using this mascara and I would be interested in purchasing a full sized tube.

Perfume Power! - Christina Aguilera 'Woman'

I decided to buy this perfume as it was on my test list on Fragrantica and I saw it for a decent price. I have been struggling to find places to buy perfume samples lately, so I took a gamble and bought the smallest bottle size I could. I got the 30ml bottle in the eau de parfum. The bottle is made of glass and kind of an hourglass shape, just like some of Christina’s other perfumes. It has a yellow gold flower design on the thinnest part of the bottle and Christina’s name is printed in hot pink and the perfume name printed in yellow gold. It also has yellow gold banding around the neck for the cap to sit on. The cap is clear plastic and kind of diamond shaped. It has a slight yellow gold spritzer to dispense the scent. On the outer cardboard box it had this description; “A sensual combination of golden amber and white flowers - radiating femininity the way a woman does”. e.l.f Studio Cream Eyeliners

A while back I decided I wanted to try a different type of eyeliner because liquid wasn’t working so well for me, so I decided to look into cream/gel eyeliners. I had heard about the e.l.f one before and decided I would give it ago, plus I was already into e.l.f products and I had never experienced anything negative from the brand. I’ve tried four shades and they are Black , which is a dark charcoal black, Coffee , which is a matte medium toned coffee brown and Punk Purple , which is a metallic deep royal. I had to throw all three away for reasons I will explain. The packaging is a cube shaped clear plastic container with a black plastic lid.
