Graze - Box #16

I thought I would share my Graze box with you today. I recently re-subscribed and my first one arrived Tuesday 14th July. It has been almost six years since I last mentioned Graze on my blog, but I did keep my subscription for a long time after. I stopped posting about them as I am kind of picky with snacks, so I would make sure that I only received the few that I liked which means I was receiving the same ones over and over again, which would be boring and daft to blog about. I eventually cancelled my subscription, I can’t remember when but I remember I was receiving three boxes a week at one point. Graze seem to have added a lot of new snacks, but I have noticed that all my old favourites are no longer available!
If you have never heard of Graze before, it is basically a subscription box for healthy snacks. You get four snacks per box and you can order as many boxes as you like. I set mine up again for one box weekly and the next available date for me was a Tuesday, so I will receive one box every Tuesday, unless I change or cancel my subscription. You can LIKE, LOVE or DISLIKE the snacks available. If you are up for trying anything, you won’t need to rate the snacks before receiving them, but if you are picky like me you will need to DISLIKE the snacks you won’t like so that you don’t ever receive them. If you LIKE a snack you may receive it again and if you LOVE a snack you will definitely receive it again at some point. You also need to make sure that you rate the ones you are sent.

It is £4.49 per box (+free shipping) and the snacks are sent inside a biodegradable recycled cardboard box. Each snack comes inside its very own little plastic packet.

Here is what I received in this box:-
Cocoa & Hazelnut Pretzel Dipper
- Lightly salted pretzel sticks with a cocoa & hazelnut dip (142kcal)
Contains: Soya, Milk, Tree Nuts & Gluten
I have tried this packet previously and I think it tastes the same, maybe less salty. The pretzel sticks are really lightly salted, I kind of wish they were more salty. They are more like breadsticks than your traditional pretzel, but they still taste nice. I didn’t try the chocolate dip as I do not like nut based chocolate and the dip smells very nutty.
Mexican Style Cheese & Chilli
- Gouda puffs, black beans, hickory smoked almonds & chilli corn (132kcal)
Contains: Milk, Soya & Tree Nuts
This is a new packet to me. The gouda puffs do have a milky cheese taste. They are not too strong and they are light and crisp. I have actually never tried gouda before and I am not overly keen on it!  The black beans are slightly salted and they kind of remind me of peanuts. I actually quite like them and I didn’t think I would. The hickory smoked almonds are only slightly smoked, so they do taste delicious. The chilli corn mostly tastes salty, but there is the chilli kick!. I liked everything from this packet, apart from the gouda puffs.
Salt & Vinegar Crunch
- Salt & vinegar flavoured broad beans, corn hoops and salted corn (124kcal)
Contains: Gluten
This is also new packet to me. I have had broad beans and corn in other packets before, but mot this particular packet. The beans are quite crunchy and they are not to vinegar strong. The corn hoops remind me of little baby hoola hoops! They have a soft crunch and they taste exactly like the regular corn pieces, but they are not as crunchy and you can taste the vinegar. The salted corn is crunchy and tastes kind of sweet. I couldn’t really taste the salt and they do not taste of vinegar. I like corn like this for a snack anyway. The salted corn was my favourite part of the snack.
Lively Lemon Fibre Flapjack
- Wholegrain oat flapjack with zesty lemon curd & yoghurt drizzle (142kcal)
Contains: Soya, Gluten, Milk & Eggs
I have tried this lemon flapjack from Graze before, but this is an updated version. It didn’t taste as lemony as I remember it being, but it was still delicious. I don’t like lemon curd (at all) or yoghurt on desserts, but this has just a drizzle and it was quite pleasant.

One good thing is that I got to keep my old subscription price of £3.49 per box. I didn’t really have a dud packet in this box and the only snack I wasn’t keen on was the gouda puffs, which there weren’t many of anyway. I absolutely love the Graze corn and they have now got me back into almonds. I can’t wait for my next box! I’m not sure if I will share every box I receive with you and I’m not sure how long I will stay subscribed for this time. I am also so sad that they got rid of The Cheese Board and Bonnie Wee Oatbakes, because they are in my list of top favourite Graze snacks ever!

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. It is a deep che

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes Double 14 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk Virgin - bone white (M) Good Morning - soft pink

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer
