KALEIDOS Charisma Contour Palette in Cool & Light

I already love the KALEIDOS Space Age Highlighters and I have also really been enjoying the Futurism Eyeshadow Palettes, so naturally I also wanted to try their contour palette when it was released. I bought this product after my first direct KALEIDOS order, but before my second order which is why I purchased it on Depop instead, I didn’t just want to buy one product and have to wait ages for it to arrive.

THE SHADES & SWATCHES

Shade - cool dusted taupe
Chisel - neutral taupe with pink undertones

MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I like the packaging and the compact does have a little weight to it. I do also like that there is a little mirror, even though I personally wouldn’t use it. I don’t like that the shades are different sizes, it is a little awkward to get your brush into the Fill and Shade pans to pick-up product. The Fill shade is ok, but I wouldn’t use it what it is actually for, I would just use it as an actual powder. It isn’t my preference of shade for a powder, I prefer transparent pressed powders. I love how smooth Shade and Chisel look once blended out and they do blend out effortlessly. It took some building up as I think I chose the wrong shade, I probably needed the next shade up (Warm and Medium). Shade and Chisel do look almost identical, so it is kind of pointless having the two included. I probably would have just put the Fill and Chisel shades into the compact and the Fill shade would be the same size pan as Chisel. I will continue playing with it, but I probably wouldn’t re-purchase it as I don’t need all three shades. I would consider purchasing the Chisel shade if it was available as a single.

Glamour Magazine - July 2013

Yesterday I picked up the new edition of Glamour Magazine, well three copies of them actually! It is the July 2013 edition and you get a choice of five free MODEL CO products and four different magazine covers ( Rebel Wilson , Zooey Deschanel , Myleene Klass & Daniel Radcliffe ). I have never heard of the MODEL CO brand before, but judging by their website, they are marketed as high end. I’m not sure what size the items in the magazines are, but I have listed the full sizes and prices below. FIBRE LASHXTEND Mascara - £28 SHINE Ultra Lip Gloss in Strip Tease - £12 SHINE Ultra Lip Gloss in Showgirl Red - £12 COLOURBOX Eye Pencil in Black 01 - £14 LIP ENHANCER Illusion Lip Liner - £16 I decided to pick up two copies because this month’s edition is £1 instead of £2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette

This palette has been around for a while now and I always thought it looked stunning, but I just didn’t buy it. I recently decluttered my make-up collection and I allowed myself to get this palette (I almost bought the Amrezy one instead). I didn’t know it was still available and I found it purely by chance. I thought when it was first released it was classed as a limited edition product! The packaging is the usual ABH slim rectangle shape and it is wrapped in a sort of sparkly blue and white striped denim material. The palette and brad names are printed in a sparkly gold font. The palette has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. There is a small mirror and the square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a metallic azure blue base, with the shade names printed in a small gold font. You can purchase this palette for £46.00 ($57.00) from AnastasiaBeverlyHills.co.uk, AnastasiaBeverlyHills.com and FeelUnique.com. You get fourteen 0.73g eyes...
