Serial Sampler #37

I’ve had this sample for a while now and I’ve only just decided to test it. I have already sampled the original scent of this fragrance line.

It is Candy Florale by PRADA and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de toilette.

Prada Candy Florale is the scent of the perfect imaginary flower that Prada has created for Candy. Inspired by the purest flower, the white cosmos, the fragrance reveals a tender and unexpected floral bouquet

Launched: 2014

Type: Floral & Fruity

Notes
Top: Limoncello.
Middle: Peony.
Base: Honey, Caramel, Musk and Benzoin.
I wasn’t expecting to like this fragrance as I didn’t like the original, but I was pleasantly surprised over how nice it smells. It is most definitely a floral scent with a slight fresh and fruity twist. It is not overpoweringly strong and I would say it is more of a feminine fragrance. It does have a slight sweetness but it isn’t too much. I can detect the Peony and Musk notes, but I cannot detect the Caramel note at all, which is good for me. I do really like this scent, but it isn’t one I would typically wear. I don’t think it really smells like the original scent at all, because I didn’t like that one. I would definitely recommend this scent over the original Candy.

You can purchase the PRADA Candy Florale Eau De Toilette in 30ml (£50.00), 50ml (£65.00) and 80ml (£80.00) from Prada.com.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette

This palette has been around for a while now and I always thought it looked stunning, but I just didn’t buy it. I recently decluttered my make-up collection and I allowed myself to get this palette (I almost bought the Amrezy one instead). I didn’t know it was still available and I found it purely by chance. I thought when it was first released it was classed as a limited edition product! The packaging is the usual ABH slim rectangle shape and it is wrapped in a sort of sparkly blue and white striped denim material. The palette and brad names are printed in a sparkly gold font. The palette has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. There is a small mirror and the square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a metallic azure blue base, with the shade names printed in a small gold font. You can purchase this palette for £46.00 ($57.00) from AnastasiaBeverlyHills.co.uk, AnastasiaBeverlyHills.com and FeelUnique.com. You get fourteen 0.73g eyes...

Oden's Eye Norn’s Mesmerizer Highlighters

When I saw that Oden’s Eye posted on their Instagram page about their new Norn’s Series Collection, I knew I would be making my second purchase of their products. The collection as a whole includes four eyeshadow palettes and three highlighters. The palettes all looked beautiful, but I knew I wouldn’t get much use out of them and I didn’t just want to buy them to swatch and post about and then not use again. I did want to buy all three highlighters, but I settled on the two that I would get most use out of. The one I didn’t choose is a stunning blue and silver shade and I just knew I wouldn’t wear it as much as the other two. I already own a few other blue highlighters and I hardly ever wear them. I believe only the three highlighters are limited edition and the eyeshadow palettes are all permanent. ABOUT THE PRODUCT In Norse mythology, three sisters (Norn’s) weave and guard the web of fate. They also attend the spring of life that supports the World Tree. The highlighters reflect the ...
