Serial Sampler #38

This scent isn’t actually new to me, but I thought I would post about it anyway. It is another sort of spin-off scent.
 
It is Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de toilette.

Notes
Top: Blackberry, Pear and Grapefruit.
Middle: Wisteria, Litchi and Jasmine.
Base: Musk, Coconut and White Wood.
This is a very florally fresh scent with a fruit twist. It does actually smell dreamy to me! I can mostly smell the Blackberry, Grapefruit, Litchi and Musk notes. I have previously smelled this perfume as my sister used to have it and I love the bottle design. It is quite a light scent and it is not very strong as it settles down, I would usually prefer something stronger as I like to be able to smell it when I am wearing it. I would still definitely wear it and would look at purchasing it.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

I received this product as part of the Oz: The Great and Powerful Theodora Palette, which also includes a lipgloss crayon. I am going to review this product as a whole, even though I only have it in one shade. This looks like a standard eyeliner pencil, but the design is a lot nicer looking. The majority of them have the silver lid, but I have noticed that a couple of the shades have a different colour lid. Each barrel of each pencil is a different colour, to clearly show the colour of each shade. Zero is a soft black shade and it is not the darkest black Urban Decay do. This shade is part of the regular line and mine is the 0.8g sample size, the full sized product is 1.2g. Like the majority of pencil eyeliners, you have to sharpen it to dispense more product and the formula is smooth and creamy. Oden's Eye Alva Eyeshadow Palette

I first heard of this indie brand through watching Angelika Oles’ beauty channel on YouTube. Oden’s Eye is a Swedish indie brand and they make Norse mythology themed products. This is the second of two eyeshadow palettes I decided to purchase. I also picked up the two matching highlighter palettes.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is small and square in shape and is made out of cardboard. The design and imagery is so unique to the brand. Alva means elf in Swedish. The base colour of the packaging is a dusty pink and it has flowers and grapes printed on it. There is also the silver reflective elf graphic. The palette has a magnetic closing/opening, which you lift up to reveal the small round mirror and small circular pans on a dusty pink base. The eyeshadow shade names are printed in gold font above each, they kind of wrap around the pans.
