Serial Sampler #12

I thought I would share with you my thoughts on a FREE lipgloss sample I received a while back from an online Debenhams order I made.
It is Sweet Peach Oil Lipgloss in Pure Peach by Too Faced and it is a 1g sample of the full sized lipgloss.
It contains peach oil, coconut oi and vitamin E. These ingredients soften and moisturise the lips. The lipgloss is available in eight different shades and they all smell like peaches (they are supposed to taste like peaches too). The shade I have is described as a peachy pink. It is quite pigmented for a lipgloss and it does apply very smooth. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips and it does feel moisturising. It also smells amazing! It is not as sticky as your average lipgloss either because of the added oils.

You can buy the full sized tube for £16.00 and it is available for sale at Debenhams and TooFaced.com.

Oden's Eye Norn’s Mesmerizer Highlighters

When I saw that Oden’s Eye posted on their Instagram page about their new Norn’s Series Collection, I knew I would be making my second purchase of their products. The collection as a whole includes four eyeshadow palettes and three highlighters. The palettes all looked beautiful, but I knew I wouldn’t get much use out of them and I didn’t just want to buy them to swatch and post about and then not use again. I did want to buy all three highlighters, but I settled on the two that I would get most use out of. The one I didn’t choose is a stunning blue and silver shade and I just knew I wouldn’t wear it as much as the other two. I already own a few other blue highlighters and I hardly ever wear them. I believe only the three highlighters are limited edition and the eyeshadow palettes are all permanent. ABOUT THE PRODUCT In Norse mythology, three sisters (Norn’s) weave and guard the web of fate. They also attend the spring of life that supports the World Tree. The highlighters reflect the ...

Blogmas #21 | Benefit Luv It Up! Gift Set (Limited Edition)

I was browsing through LookFantastic.com looking at Benefit products and I came across this gift set. What first drew me in was the tin, it is beautiful. I was also interested in trying the included products and I thought it would be a good way to try more products from Benefit. It is inexpensive and would make a lovely Christmas gift for a beauty junkie. The products are arranged inside a gorgeous little tiffany blue/lime green inspired tin. Inside the tin is the insert which holds the products in place and it can be removed so the tin can be re-used. This gift set contains three Longwear Powder Shadows (1.2g sample) , one Ultra Plush Lipgloss (6.5ml sample) and one Creaseless Cream Shadow (3.2g sample) . The eyeshadows are Call My Buff (pale shell), Nude Swings (soft rose gold) and Thanks A Latte (golden brown). They are mean’t to be long wearing, feel silky soft and give your eyelids a soft wash of colour, which can be built to intensity. There are also three var...

Graze - Box #8

I have yet another Graze box for you today. This box was more savoury than the ones I have had before. A closer look at my treats. The Graze Brownie “The better-for-you brownie” The brownies were quite nice. It was Belgian chocolate and not too sickly and I don’t usually like nuts/almonds in brownies, but these tree nuts were good. Spicy Corn Taco “Spicy chilli peanuts, roasted corn & edamame beans” The chilli peanuts were really good. They taste a bit like regular salted peanuts, but you still get that hint of chilli spice. The corn was beautiful! It was really crunchy and it had a sweet and savoury taste to it. I wasn’t that keen on the beans because they were mostly tasteless and they remind me of bird seeds because they are really crunchy, but the texture is hollow and shell like. The British Barbecue “Basil baguettes, rosemary crostini, smoked almonds & seeds” The basil baguettes are really tasty and not too strong. The cros...
