NOTD #3 - Look At Me In Lincoln Square

I decided to try out a couple of nail polishes today, one I bought last year and the other yesterday.

NYC In A NEW YORK Color Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish in Lincoln Square Lavender – it is just a really soft, milky, matte, pastel lavender colour. I did two coats of this colour. I bought this colour last year for £1.79 from Superdrug.

Collection 2000 HOT Looks Fast Dry Nail Polish in Look At Me (59) – it is just a yellow toned milky green, which reminds of a colour by OPI from the Shrek collection. I did five coats of this colour. I bought this colour yesterday for £1.79 from Morrisons (UK), and it is actually a brand new colour and I am also after the shade called Electric Dreams – which is a turquoise/teal colour.

Escada Collector's Edition Gift Set

I’ve always been interested in trying Escada fragrances, but there are so many to choose from and I didn’t want to risk buying a full size bottle. I came across this little gift set whilst I was shopping online at Boots and clicked buy straight away! All four fragrances are in a tiny, but cute 4ml potion looking bottle. Here are the four scents you get to try:- TURQUOISE SUMMER This bottle is a turquoise/clear theme and contains the notes; pineapple, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, peach, violet, orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. It smells really strong of orange blossom and kind of like a car air freshener. It does linger quite a while on the skin, but it is not really a strong scent. Overall I don’t like this scent. It doesn’t really smell of anything to me and what you can smell isn’t what I would call pleasant. I give this perfume 1/5 . Boots Fragrance Sampler Gift Set for Her 2015

I decided to treat myself to this little fragrance set. As you know, I am a perfume addict and I’m quite addicted to collecting perfume samples too! It’s this year’s Boots Fragrance Sampler set for Her. I saw last year’s advertised but I always thought it was a little expensive for what you get. The set basically contains eight samples of Boots best-selling female fragrances by other brands. The set comes in a small, thin cardboard box and each sample is set inside a plastic insert. You also get a small fragrance guide and the voucher, which is what you’ll need to get your full size bottle of your favourite sample.
